It's official! Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg will host the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards this January.

The announcement that the Killing Eve star and Brooklyn Nine-Nine funny man would host the evening was made Wednesday afternoon. The news comes just a little over a month before the actual award show. Last year's host was comedian and late-night star Seth Meyers.

Oh received an Emmy nomination for her Killing Eve role (though she did not end up walking away with the trophy), and she's anticipated to also snag a Golden Globe nom for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama this year. Samberg, meanwhile, is a two-time Golden Globe winner for his work on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, taking home statuettes in both the acting and producing categories.

These two impressed with their duo act when presenting at the Emmys, so we're cautiously optimistic about their ability to carry a whole show -- and we're not the only ones. Oh's former Grey's Anatomyco-star, Ellen Pompeo, was quick to express her excitement over the news, tweeting, "THIS is going to be good."

The Golden Globes are given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and honor the best in television and movies. The Globes are famous for honoring upcoming talent, so it will be exciting to see what happens on the big night in January. Last year, freshmen series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Handmaid's Taleand Big Little Liestook home the honors of Best Comedy Series, Best Drama Series and Best Miniseries, respectively. Each of the shows also nabbed acting awards, leaving little room for returning nominees.

What do you think of Oh and Sambergas Golden Globes hosts?

The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards air Sunday, Jan. 9 at 8/7c on NBC.
