This follow-up film (though not a sequel) to SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF finds Garner playing a con artist running off from his madame bride-to-be, Windsor. He ends up in the small western town of Purgatory, where the citizens mistake him for a famous gunslinger. Garner decides to let them think what they want and proceeds to take Purgatory for everything he can.
