The Chronicles of Narnia: The Rest of the Title Goes On as Long as the Name of a Fiona Apple CD took in $32.8 million, over $1 million more than King Kong, which came in second with $31.6 million. Christmas-night business nudged King Kong to a $31.4 million payday — a slim $300,000 margin of victory over No. 2 finisher The Chronicles of Narnia — in the holiday-weekend box-office contest.
