"It's a 'character-cedural,'" says Body of Proof executive producer Christopher Murphy. "If a story doesn't come from a character, it doesn't move me."

Tom Selleck, Will Estes, Donnie Wahlberg and Bridget Moynahan bring Blue Bloods to Friday nights on CBS.

"You want to walk in the shoes of one of the members of this family," says Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck. "That's what I want to accomplish. That will be the strength of this show."

Will Estes, Bridget Moynahan and Donnie Wahlberg goof around in the TV Guide Magazine photo booth. Wahlberg calls his Blue Bloods character "a tough guy with a heart of gold."

"We approached it as if she was a mini version of James Bond or Batman," says Nikita executive producer Craig Silverstein. "Those things have been rebooted over the years, too."

The Event's Jason Ritter, Sarah Roemer, Blair Underwood and Laura Innes hold the key to the fall's hottest mystery.

If you're worried The Event will fizzle like last season's FlashForward — don't, says star Scott Patterson: "We're in very good hands with some of the best writers in television turning out real page-turners."
