Jeanine Mason (tie)

She really hasn't blown us away yet, which might explain her low ranking with our readers. Her hip-hop piece with Phillip was great — but mostly because of him — and her tango and Broadway pieces have been disasters — also mostly because of Phillip. To move up in the rankings or even stay around for another week, she's got to really wow us.

Karla Garcia (tie)

She's only been safe one week so far, but perhaps the loss of her ex-partner Jonathan will boost her approval rating. One thing she needs to do right now is listen to Nigel and start showing us some personality. Stronger technique in her dancing wouldn't hurt either.

Kupono Aweau (tie)

His Viennese waltz kept him safe last week, but his poor ranking might be attributed to his less-than-impressive hip-hop number from the week prior. His crash-test-dummy jazz piece really wowed us during the first week of competition, but Kupono needs more performances like that to really break out.

Vitolio Jeune (tie)

There is a lot of be said for infusing your performance with emotion, but even the judges agree that we need to see better technique from Vitolio. Perhaps his new partnership with Karla will bear fruit.

Janette Manrara (tie)

The judges like this little hot tamale, but our readers don't find her quite as spicy. While she's impressed the judges with every genre she's been given, there's obviously still something missing in her performance for viewers.

Jason Glover (tie)

His Bollywood number impressed, but his paso doble and hip-hop routines left us wanting. The judges would like to see him step up his performance, and if he picks contemporary from the hat, both he and partner Caitlin should shine.

Phillip Chbeeb (tie)

His unusual style makes him a hip-hop genius, but he hasn't been able to conquer any other genre he's tried. If viewers don't see him evolve each week, his days may be numbered.

Caitlin Kinney

She seems to be gaining confidence with each passing week. Her solo last week was strong, and the judges continue to be impressed with her control and lines.

Randi Evans

This little bundle of energy got to display the junk in her trunk for the entire world to see last week. Her partnership with Evan is divine, but she's got to show us more of her individual style to keep us voting for her.

Melissa Sandvig

She has the distinction of being the oldest competitor on the show, but she refuses to let that slow her down. Her partnership with Ade is magical, and if she keeps impressing us every week, she should be around for a while.

Ade Obayomi

A virtual unknown during Vegas week, he came to life as part of the Top 20. He continues to impress us with his strength and his technique every week. He could be a real contender.

Brandon Bryant (tie)

There isn't a style he can't conquer. Brandon's amazing technique and willingness to learn make him a joy to watch. He should be in it until the end.

Kayla Radomski (tie)

Cleary a favorite with the judges, this contemporary dancer has tackled every genre ferociously. Not only do Nigel & Co. constantly heap praise upon her (maybe they should cut that out), but viewers seem to love her as well. Brian Friedman's pop jazz piece put her in the bottom two weeks ago, but she came back from that setback stronger.

Evan Kasprzak

Also a judges' favorite, Evan has shown us his style can be appreciated and embraced. His partnership with the equally height-challenged Randi is refreshing and adorable. There doesn't seem to be a style he can't perform — although the judges expect a lot from him so he's got to be careful not to oversell himself. For now, our readers are still buying what he's selling.
