An adaptation of the 2010 film of the same name that earned Jacki Weaver an Oscar nomination, this TNT drama features Ellen Barkin in Weaver's role of Janine "Smurf" Cody, the matriarch of a criminal family. Joshua "J" Cody (Finn Cole), a 17-year-old relative, moves in with the clan after his mother's death. Scott Speedman, Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary and Daniella Alonso co-star.

From the folks who brought you The Good Wife comes this comic-thriller about aliens taking over Congress. Sure, that tracks! Going from a show that was once the best broadcast drama on TV to... this. OK! Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Laurel, the daughter of a Democratic political dynasty, is our entry point and the young woman who discovers the brain-eating bugs on Capitol Hill. Winstead leads a cast that includes Aaron Tveit, Danny Pino and Tony Shalhoub.

Cheer Squad is a two-week programming event following the Great White Sharks cheerleading squad. The two-time World Cheerleading champions and elite athletes will attempt to defend their title and balance their grueling schedules to stay on top. The series will air nightly at 10pm.

Bad things are 100 percent guaranteed to happen at summer camp. It's science. The series stars Elizabeth Mitchell, Elizabeth Lail, Zelda Williams, Mark Indelicato, Eli Goree and more.

Two pals (played by David Schwimmer and Jim Sturgess) open up a restaurant together, which puts a flame under their already complicated sibling-like relationship. And if making sure the veal piccata gets out hot wasn't enough, one of them is in trouble with the mob! Feed the Beast is based on the Danish series Bankerot. The series will then move to Tuesdays beginning June 7.

Baz Luhrmann explores the birth of hip-hop and hip-hop culture in New York City during the 1970s explosion of disco, funk and punk. And yep, with Luhrmann's involvement this will have plenty of eye-popping musical moments. A cast of youngsters is bolstered by Giancarlo Esposito and Jimmy Smits, as well as executive producer Shawn Ryan.

Premieres: Tuesday, June 21 at 10/9c and Wednesday, June 22 at 9/8c and 10/9c

Premiering with a special two-night event, Greenleaf follows Gigi (The Night Shift's Merle Dandridge), the disillusioned daughter of the leaders of a megachurch in Memphis, as she returns home 20 years after the mysterious death of her sister. Upon arrival, she'll soon discover that her parents (played by Enlisted's Keith David and The Josephine Baker Story's Lynn Whitfield) are not as good and righteous as she previously thought. Obviously Oprah Winfrey guest-stars because this is OWN. The series will air new episodes Wednesdays at 10/9c.

Freeform's latest hour-long soapy drama is giving us what we've always wanted, or at least what Psych's Shawn Spencer always wanted: a TV series starring Billy Zane. Well, he's in it anyway. Guilt follows the aftermath of the murder of Molly Ryan, and Zane appears as a lawyer who aides Emily Tremaine's Natalie in defending Grace (Daisy Head), Molly's roommate -- who also happens to be Natalie's sister -- once she becomes the prime suspect in Molly's murder. Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Anthony Stewart Head (father of Daisy Head) also appears as the sisters' stepfather.

Cinemax hopes that The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman can print some more money again with his latest, the demonic possession drama Outcast. Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous) is all grown up and plays the demon-possessed Barnes as he seeks the truth about the nature of his uninvited bodymate. He teams up with an alcoholic reverend for answers, and may have some in the form of a young boy who is also possessed, but by what? This one will be creepy.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's insane and ultra-violent comic about a small-town Texas preacher (Dominic Cooper) who gets inhabited by a mysterious being and seeks out a disinterested god with his ex-girlfriend (Ruth Negga) and drunk vampire friend (Joseph Gilgun) is finally here! Like we said, it's insane, and one of the most anticipated new series of the year. New episodes begin June 5 in the show's regular 9pm timeslot.

This American adaptation of Telemundo's La Reina Del Sur follows the wife of a Mexican drug kingpin who flees to the States after he's murdered. And you know what she does when she arrives, don't you? That's right, she plots revenge. Go get 'em, girl! I Am Legend's Alice Braga stars.

AMC's new six-part unscripted series Ride with Norman Reedus follows the Walking Dead star as he travels across the U.S. on his motorcycle to explore different aspects of local biker culture while also celebrating collectors, mechanics and more. Each week a riding companion will join him in a new hour-long segment.

Cameron Crowe's latest love letter to music again goes behind the scenes to tell a story that's not often told. Think Almost Famous but current day and a comedy series about the roadies, aka the men and women without whom live concerts would not be possible. It stars Luke Wilson as the band's tour manager and Carla Gugino as their production manager. Imogen Poots, Luis Guzmàn, Rafe Spall, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Peter Cambor, Colson Baker, aka Machine Gun Kelly, and Ron White round out the cast.

Premieres: Monday, May 30 at 9/8c on A&E

Yes, it's a remake of THAT Roots. History's update is again a portrait of American slavery that recounts the incredible journey of one family's will to survive in spite of hardships and violence. Malachi Kirby takes on the role of Kunta Kinte in a miniseries that also stars Forest Whitaker, Laurence Fishburne, Mekhi Phifer, James Purefoy, Anika Noni Rose, Anna Paquin, Matthew Goode, Erica Tazel and many more.

This mystery-supernatural thriller hasn't detailed much of its plot in an effort to keep it secret, but we do know that it takes place in 1980s Indiana and centers on the disappearance of a young boy. So at least we have that. Winona Ryder, David Harbour and Matthew Modine star.

Uncle Buck is based on the film of the same name and tells the story via an all-black cast. Mike Epps stars as the titular charismatic hustler who steps up to be a nanny for his brother and sister-in-law (James Lesure and Nia Long) when they move to town and need help with their kids. Wackiness almost certainly will ensue.

Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down) makes his return to HBO in this goofy comedy about two high school vice principals (McBride and Justified's Walton Goggins) fighting to become the next principal. And boy do we mean fighting. Watch out for tussling, one-liners and some potty humor from McBride.

Premieres: Tuesday, June 14 at 10/9c

An ensemble comedy about a group of strangers stranded on a deserted island following a plane crash, Wrecked stars Zach Cregger, Rhys Darby, Jessica Lowe, Asif Ali, Ally Maki and more. Whether or not there are flashbacks or flash-forwards or flashes diagonally across time and space remains unclear.
