Premieres: Thursday, Jan. 17 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: Charlie finally seemed ready to confront his feelings for Kate, but in the end, the two just expanded their definition of "friends with benefits" to include kissing and going to the movies together. Progress is progress, right? What's Next: Charlie and Kate's physical relationship will hit the skids when Charlie catches Kate sending naughty photos to an ex, whom Charlie confronts. And yet, Kate will still have trouble moving on, despite her best (read: sluttiest) efforts to get Charlie out of her head and heart. Also look for Charlie to take on a very familiar patient: CeeLo Green, guest-stars as a fictionalized version of himself.

Premieres: Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Archer and the rest of ISIS' ragtag crew blasted off into space again to stop Commander Drake's sinister plan to populate Mars. Barry returned, only to see his long-awaited duel with Archer postponed. What's Next: Love is in the air! Mallory ties the knot, and Lana and Cyril rekindle their romance. Also, look for a few fresh faces to join ISIS, such as the new guard of the armory, voiced by comedian Andrew Donnelly. Fans can also expect a double serving of H. Jon Benjamin during a Bourne Identity-like crossover episode with Benjamin's other series, Bob's Burgers.

Premieres: Monday, Jan. 14 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: As punishment for attempting to kill the vampire leader, Aidan was forced to watch the murder of Suren before being buried alive. Meanwhile, Sally was lost in a state of limbo, while Josh's fate remains unknown after a standoff between Ray and Nora ended with a gunshot as the show faded to black. What's Next: The third season picks up 15 months after the events of the finale, and we know Nora is definitely still alive. (Kristen Hager has been bumped up to series regular!) Bishop (Mark Pellegrino) and Henry (Kyle Schmid) will also return as Aidan's vampire mentor and son, respectively. New faces include Amy Auino as a witch who may help in the search for Sally, while Nikita's Xander Berkeley will play the father of purebred twins who is intent on locating his missing children. More good news for Nora: Bobby Campo will also play a potential love interest this season.

Premieres: Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: A serial killer from Megan's past came back to exact revenge, but he ended up stabbing Peter, who tried to save her. Though Peter's fate was left unclear, the fact that Nicholas Bishop isn't returning to the show indicates it's a pretty grim outcome. What's Next: Out with the old, in with the new. Departing series regulars Bishop and John Carroll Lynch will be replaced by Mark Valley, whose Detective Tommy Sullivan has a romantic history with Megan. Though Megan doesn't exactly welcome Tommy with open arms, they'll investigate the mystery surrounding Megan's father's death. Plus: Look for guest appearances from Michael Nouri, Henry Ian Cusack and 24's Annie Wersching.

Premieres: Monday, Jan. 7 at 9/8 Where We Left Off:After Michelle accidently maced all the dancers before their Nutcracker debut, even a Dead Poets Society plea couldn't keep her in Paradise. The former showgirl shipped out. What's Next:Things for Fanny and the girls might not have gone so smoothly without Michelle around, but fortunately nobody seems to blame her (even though the mace-ing incident has unexpected consequences for Boo). Also, don't expect Sasha's issues with her family to be forgotten so quickly.

Premieres: Sunday, Jan. 13 at 10:30/9:30c Where We Left Off: Karen ended her marriage just as Becca improbably forgave Tyler for his cheating ways and accepted his proposal. Relationship matters for Hank were much more serious: A crazy ex-girlfriend returned and dosed his drink with a potentially lethal amount of drugs. What's Next: Hank survives, and the next step? Rehab! Once Hank is out, he'll be asked to help a rock star (Tim Minchin) adapt Hank's novel into a musical. (Lost's Maggie Grace plays a groupie who catches Hank's eye.) Meanwhile, Charlie begins living a lie in order to land a big client who wants a new agent (excuse us, "gaygent"), and Karen and Marcy become roommates!

Premieres: Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8/7c Where We Left Off: Troy became the Messiah of the Air Conditioning Repair Annex, but abandoned his post to return to the study group (much to Britta's joy). After the fall of the Chang Dynasty, the former student-turned-security-guard-turned-dictator moved into the City College air vents, where he's able to watch over the school's dean as he plans a full-scale military invasion of Greendale. What's Next: Love is in the air! Troy and Britta continue developing their relationship and even Abed gets a new love interest this season. Jeff will also reunite with his father (guest star James Brolin). Elsewhere, expect the usual array of quirk and parody episodes, which will include takes on Comic-Con and The Hunger Games, among others. Plus: More paintball!

Premieres: Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Jules and Grayson finally tied the knot, and Travis was forced to put his feelings for Laurie aside (for now). What's Next: Jules and Grayson work on adjusting to married life, while Travis and Bobby get back in the dating game. With Ellie heading back to work, does that mean a spot in the Cul-de-Sac Crew has finally opened up for nosey neighbor Tom? (Probably not.)

Premieres: Monday, Jan. 28 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: Elena and Christopher got back together after Christopher found out his wife Rebecca was Cliff Barnes' daughter, Pamela! Oh, and Bobby's wife Ann may or may not have had a daughter with her first husband, Ryland, who was determined to ruin Sue Ellen's gubernatorial campaign. What's Next: After six episodes, the show will say goodbye to the iconic J.R. Ewing following Larry Hagman's death. Meanwhile, Christopher desperately seeks an annulment from Rebecca/Pamela, but she wants a divorce so she can have part ownership of Ewing Energies. She may receive a helping hand from John Ross, who's frustrated by his relatively small stake in the company. And a new character, Emma, will be introduced as — you guessed it — the long-lost daughter of Ann and Ryland.

Premieres: Sunday, January 6 (check local listings for time) Where We Left Off: The newly married Mr. Bates was sentenced to life imprisonment for allegedly killing his ex-wife, and the Crawleys resolved to seek an appeal. Upstairs, Matthew and Lady Mary came to an understanding and at long last got engaged. What's Next: Lady Grantham's spitfire American mom Martha (Shirley MacLaine) swoops into Downton for Matthew and Mary's wedding, which upsets the very proper and old-fashioned Dowager Countess. Also, Sibyl will prepare to have her first child, while Edith is looking forward to nuptials of her own. In downstairs drama, Bates and Anna encounter difficulties maintaining their communication while he's in prison. Meanwhile, Thomas creates friction with the new footman Alfred, who is O'Brien's nephew, and Downton's former maid Ethel must resort to extreme measures to raise her illegitimate child alone.

Premieres: Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: While Jessa's love life took an unexpected upward turn with her spontaneous wedding, Hannah's collapsed. Just when Adam asked Hannah to move in together, she decided to ask Elijah (Andrew Rannells) to move in instead. To make matters worse, Adam got hit by a car and was taken to the hospital. What's Next: A bedridden Adam refuses to let go of Hannah, but his attempts at romance only seem to push her further away. Fortunately, there's a sexy doctor (guest star Patrick Wilson) who lives next door next to where Hannah works. Maybe she needs a more mature man? (Don't worry — Adam may move on as well with guest star Shiri Appleby.) Jessa, surprisingly, is still married to her wealthy new husband. Marnie and Booth will continue their sordid affair, while Shoshana and Ray decide to add some, ahem, benefits to their friendship. Plus: Rita Wilson guest-stars as Marnie's mom.

Premieres: Sunday, Jan. 13 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Marty & Co. are able to stop the acquisition of Galweather by MetroCapital when Jeannie confessed her affair with The Rainmaker (Griffin Dunne). Marty's son Roscoe decided to move in with his mother — and Marty's chief rival — Monica. What's Next: The Pod must deal with the fallout of the blown merger while continuing to service new clients, including Adam Brody, who will play the owner of an adult toy company with eyes for Jeannie. Larenz Tate guest-stars as Marty's brother. Plus: Marty encounters two (very different) powerful women (Nia Long and Lisa Edelstein) during his new assignments.

Premieres: Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Johnny ratted out Boyd, whom Raylan arrested for the murder of Devil. But Raylan's father Arlo, who confessed to shooting a state trooper, also took the rap for Devil's murder to protect Boyd. Oh, and Arlo admitted that he shot the trooper (aka "a man in a hat") knowing it could possibly be Raylan. What's Next: While Raylan contends with the fact that his father was willing to kill him, he’ll begin investigating a 30-year-old cold case that could provide even more insight into Raylan's family's past. Boyd will be at odds with a snake-handling preacher (Joe Mazzello), whose charismatic and manipulative methods are keeping Boyd from being the criminal kingpin of Harlan. Patton Oswalt also guest-stars as Constable Bob, a high school classmate of Raylan's who lends a hand in his new investigation.

Premieres: Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 9/8c Where We Left Off:Rebecca and Alec were thisclose to getting married, but they were stopped when the police arrested Mr. Rybek for Derek's murder. But apparently the arrest was all part of Rebecca's plan, as she not only revealed that she was Sutton and Emma's biological mother, but also that she and Sutton are working together. What's Next: The season kicks off with Alec's trial. And even though he knows about Rebecca and Sutton's scheming, Emma remains clueless. Rebecca continues working toward getting the twins' father, Ted, back in her life. Meanwhile, there's a new guy coming to town who has quite the connection to Rebecca. Could he foil her plans?

Premieres: Friday, Jan. 4 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Arthur proposed to Gwen, thus making her Queen of Camelot. Though Merlin appeared to have killed Morgana during a battle in the season finale, the dying sorceress' wounds were healed by the white dragon Aithusa, and it's safe to assume she'll be seeking revenge. What's Next: The show's fifth and final season (most of which has already aired on the BBC and will conclude overseas on Christmas Day) begins with Camelot in the Golden Age. But the good fortune will be short-lived, with the dubious return of Mordred into Arthur's inner circle and his impending showdown with Morgana. Throughout the season, the king will have to overcome evil forces all around him, which may or may not include his new wife. Plus: Will Merlin's secret be revealed?

Premieres: Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: After finally going to rehab, T.K. unsuccessfully tried to escape with the help of his old friend Jimmy (Michael Imperioli), whom T.K. later found dead from an overdose. Dani temporarily shut down her practice after finding out it's been bugged. While mourning Pittman's death in a plane crash, Dani and Nico kissed. What's Next: T.K. returns to the Hawks after a month of rehab and promptly butts heads with his replacement Joe "Toes" Kittredge (Robbie Jones). Making matters worse, Matt wants to keep Toes as the starter. Pittman's troubled daughter Juliette (Danielle Panabaker) inherits ownership of the Hawks and wants to sell the team, while Dani sees her mentor, Dr. Gunner (Peter MacNicol), to discuss her reservations about restarting her practice. Plus: She's doing her best to avoid having "the talk" with Nico.

Premieres: Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 8/7c Where We Left Off: Toby was revealed (to viewers at least) to be the "betrayer," aka the newest member of the "A" team. The special Halloween episode also featured Garrett's death, the return of Alison's remains (gross), and the discovery that Aria's dad Byron was with Alison the night of her murder. What's Next: Mona is back! And she, Toby and the rest of team aren't giving up on destroying the girls any time soon. Look for Mona's actions to cause a major (and nearly fatal) accident, while Aria tries to reconcile the fact that her father may not be who she thinks he is. Plus: Spencer and Toby are still very much together, which won't make things any easier when she learns his true motives.

Premieres: Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Taking a break from their usual shenanigans, Psych ended Season 6 on a (deadly) serious note. After discovering his friend was involved in some dirty dealings, Henry was shot in the chest while alone on the beach. What's Next: Though Henry's fate remains unknown, Shawn will come face-to-face with his father's shooter. On a happier note, Season 7 will pay tribute to The Blair Witch Project and Clue. Plus: There's a two-hour musical episode! And Shawn and Jules won't be the only romance heating up our screens: Gus finally gets a love interest (ER's Parminder Nagra)!

Premieres: Monday, Feb. 4 at 8:30/7:30c Where We Left Off: After putting the wrong date on the invitations, Jen threw a baby shower for Audrey, who got jealous of the attention her surrogate Brenda (Sara Rue) was getting. But she cheered up when Jeff revealed that they're having a girl. Russell swore off women and instead channeled his energy into the arts. What's Next: Russell will attend Sex Addicts Anonymous — for the wrong reasons, of course. Audrey and Jeff continue to prepare for their daughter's birth by making Russell compile a list of his conquests so they can avoid giving their baby girl that name.

Premieres: Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: After Monica's suicide attempt, Frank tried to bust her out of the looney bin, only to find that she wants to stay there with her new lover (guest star Jenna Elfman). Meanwhile, Fiona finally got her GED, inspiring Lip to go back to school. Sheila decided to raise Karen's newborn. Plus: Ian discovers that a man he recently slept with is Jimmy's father. What's Next: Jimmy and Fiona make a go of being a family in the Gallagher house, but Fiona finds that Jimmy is more boring than Stave. Frank winds up in Mexico and struggles to cross back into the U.S. without a passport. Lip winds up on the wrong side of the law, but he still may be the one to save the day when Fiona lands the family in even more debt.

Premieres: Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 9/8 Where We Left Off: After Karen scored the lead in Bombshell, Ivy downed pills in true Marilyn fashion. Julia's marital complications continued when she realized she might be pregnant — but who's the father? What's Next: Unfortunately, it seems as though Ivy and Karen's budding friendship is no more for now (with no thanks to Derek). But the director has his own problems to deal with, as the exit of Rebecca Duvall is still wreaking serious repercussions on his life. Now that Smash dropped the dead weight (sayonara, Ellis, Frank, Michael and Dev!), the series has space for tons of fresh talent. So be prepared for a bunch of new faces, including Jennifer Hudson and Newsies star Jeremy Jordan.

Premieres: Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Lydia told her superiors she was pregnant and opted to work a desk until the baby was born. Ben helped a young girl get out of town and shot her pimp father, though Ben's partner Sammy seemed to question whether it was a clean shooting. After his partner was promoted, John returned to work as a training officer. What's Next: Recovering addict John will begin to question just how much he's accomplished during his 20 years on the force. Lydia faces motherhood, which forces her to examine her relationship with her own mother (L. Scott Caldwell). Sammy will deal with the return of his troublemaking ex-wife into his life, while Ben seems to be led further down a dark road by a loose-cannon cop played by guest star Chad Michael Murray.

Premieres: Friday, January 25 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: Spartacus lost Mira in an attack, which made him even more bitter than usual. But despite some heartbreaking losses, his band of slave rebels enjoyed a bloody victory over Roman commander Gaius Glaber at Mount Vesuvius. Back at the ludus, Lucretia went all-out crazy, killing Ilithyia with a forced C-section before offing herself by toppling off a cliff. What's Next: The rebels have amassed a huge following of 30,000 slaves bent on revenge that has the Romans quaking in their sandals and turning to the very wealthy Marcus Crassus to build an army. In turn, he enlists the famed Gaius Julius Caesar to bring them acclaim and with this new partnership in place, they set off after Spartacus & Co., who make a bold plan to trap their oppressors.

Premieres: Thursday, Jan. 17 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Hardman promoted Louis to senior partner in exchange for his deciding ballot in the firm's managing partnership vote. But after Hardman won, Harvey and Jessica finally ousted him thanks to Harvey and Mike's discovery that Hardman planted the Coastal Motors document to frame Harvey. Rachel decided to go for it with Mike, whose grandmother had just died, only to see that he had slept with his married childhood pal Tess (Elisabeth Hower). Oh, and how can we forget? Mike and Harvey got high! What's Next: Both the firm and Mike spiral downward, as Pearson Hardman starts to lose clients because of Hardman's schemes. Mike will continue living the high life and sleeping with Tess. It affects his work in a big way, forcing Harvey to save his job yet again. And the affair? It will not end well.

Premieres: Monday, Jan. 7 at 8/7c Where We Left Off: Poor Daphne got her heart broken by her older love interest and boss. Bay hit rock bottom and tried to flee the country, but her dad and Emmett stopped her. And the trial finally came to a close, with the Kennish family receiving just $1 in damages, while Angelo pocketed $ 5 million. Angelo may not have time to celebrate: The season ended with a very pregnant woman looking for him. What's Next: Angelo won't be shy about spending his new money, and some of the things he's buying for others aren't sitting so well with Regina. And Bay's bad streak? Vanessa Marano says it's definitely over. "Season 2 is definitely a new Bay. She's following rules, she's doing well in school — she's pulling it together." As for that baby? No one will be happy about it.

Premieres: Friday, Feb. 8 at 8/7c Where We Left Off: Martin briefly lost custody of Jake but hatched a plan to reunite with his son and flee to California. The pair met up with Martin's sister Lucy (Maria Bello), whose mysterious daughter Amelia has a knack for clairvoyance similar to Jake's. What's Next: For its sophomore season, Touch relocates from New York to Los Angeles, where Martin and Jake are on the lam from Astor Corps and are helping Lucy search for Amelia, whose death was faked by the company. The show's focus will shift to finding the connection between Amelia and Jake, and figuring out what exactly Astor Corps wants with the kids anyway. New cast members include Lukas Haas as an algorithm specialist at Astor Corps, and Said Taghmaoui, who plays "priest-turned-killing machine" Guillermo Ortiz.

Premieres: Sunday, Feb. 10 at 9/8c Where We Left Off: Rick & Co. set out to save Glenn and Maggie from the townsfolk of Woodbury, but Michonne had other plans. As the gang raced to escape the war-torn town, Michonne fought the Governor, killing his zombie daughter and poking his eye out with a glass shard. Unfortunately, Daryl didn't make it out of the town, finding himself face-to-face with brother Merle in the Governor's zombie arena. Back at the prison, comic book fan favorite Tyrese arrived! What's Next: Look for this one-eyed version of the Governor to finally emulate the sadistic villain of the comics as he seeks revenge on Michonne, Rick and the group by taking the fight to the prison. Will Daryl survive? Will Andrea turn against the group? Both questions will definitely be answered before Season 3's end.

Premieres: Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 10/9c Where We Left Off: Peter told Neal that Sam was actually his long-lost father. What's Next: News that his dad has been conning him will, ironically, be a tough pill for Neal to swallow. He'll have to overcome his doubts about his father's good-cop-turned-framed-cop-killer story, which will set up a big flashback sequence to a very young Neal. The revelations about what (allegedly) happened to Neal's dad will also end up putting him at odds with Peter. You didn't think they were going to stay on good terms forever, did you?
