Will Conway (Joel Kinnaman) Patricia Clarkson and Campbell Scott join the fray in roles that are being kept under wraps, but they may need to watch their backs: Michael Kelly, who plays Doug Stamper, has intimated we'll see more than one person meet their demise in a season Spacey promises is wilder than what's happening in the real world.

Where We Left Off: Season 1 was about getting to know the Cody family, a clan of crooks cooking up crime in Southern California. Smurf (Ellen Barkin) is the brains of the operation, leading her sons to scores and keeping their hands clean. But as we saw in the finale, some of her boys began questioning her decisions.

What's Next: You can bet that her sons, led by Baz (Scott Speedman), begin to think that they can do a better job as the head of the family, and try to bump her off. But how do you do that to dear old mom? Also, expect many more action shots of the Cody kids on various vehicles, some sex and some gunplay.

Where We Left Off: The Season 2 finale was jam-packed with drama as Ryan (Matt Lauria) beat a grieving Jay (Jonathan Tucker) in their highly anticipated rematch, Nate (Nick Jonas) finally opened up to his brother to tell him he was gay, and Christina (Joanna Going) apologized to Jay for abandoning their family.

What's Next: When the show returns for its third and final season, a considerable amount of time will have passed, but not much will have changed at Navy St. An outwardly religious Ryan will defend his title as his contract with Garo comes to an end, Lisa (Kiele Sanchez) returns to work full time at the gym to manage Ryan and Nate, and Jay and Christina both find themselves embarking on new paths. Meanwhile, Nate's secret still weighs heavy on his shoulders as Alvey (Frank Grillo) considers getting back into the cage for one last fight. This season will also see the arrival of Talia Shire, who plays Alvey's mother, and Kirk Acevedo, who plays a new coach at the gym.

Where We Left Off: The Carmichael family manages to find some peace after Joe's (David Alan Grier) decision to back Donald Trump in the election caused a ruckus.

What's Next: The boundary-busting sitcom will shatter rules once more with ultra-provocative episodes. In one, Bobby (Lil Rel Howery) may have committed rape; in another, Jerrod's grandmother (Marla Gibbs) pleads with her family to let her end her life early via assisted suicide and an episode about the N-word will stretch broadcast TV's limits by airing the slur, unedited, multiple times.

Premieres: Thursday, June 1 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Nashville said goodbye to beloved singer Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) after she was killed in a car accident. Deacon (Charles Esten) took over Rayna's professional obligations at record label Highway 65, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) offered to act as a career mentor to Maddie (Lennon Stella), and Scarlett (Clare Bowen) discovered she's pregnant - but isn't sure whether Gunnar (Sam Palladio) or Damien (Christian Coulson) is the father.

What's Next: The midseason premiere picks up in real time, about 10 weeks after Rayna's death, with Deacon, Maddie, Daphne (Maisy Stella) and others trying to pick up the pieces after their loss and trying to figure out how to move on with their lives. "These people are still feeling grief, but ... the intent of the show is not to be in a state of depression about the fact that Rayna's gone," showrunner Marshall Herskovitz tells TVGuide.com. "You're torn between your grief and the fact that you're still alive and you need to live. That's the overview."

The show will also introduce two new characters: Alyssa Greene (Rachel Bilson), a young marketing expert who's brought in to revamp Highway 65, and Jessie Caine (Kaitlin Doubleday), a singer/songwriter who left Nashville years ago amid scandal, but has returned to reclaim both her son and her career. In addition, Deacon may have bit off more than he can chew when it comes to running a record label. "Deacon is taking on way too much of a role in Highway 65 for his own good," Herskovitz says. "He's not a businessman. This is taking a real toll on him." And as far as Scarlett's concern, her pregnancy will send her on a journey that includes some very unexpected twists and turns.

Where We Left Off: London (Ruth Kearney) chooses Chip (Will Arnett) over her fiancé, David. Dennis (David Sullivan) discovers that Chip has been drinking again and decides to part ways with him for good.

What's Next: Chip's demons (and lies) come back to haunt him in a big way in Season 2. After spending some time away, Chip returns to Venice only to find that he's now shunned by members of the community, who resent the fact that he sold them out. Chip also continues to struggle with sobriety and asks Dennis to be his sponsor. In return, he offers to help Dennis in a new business venture.

Premieres: Sunday, June 4 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: The crew of the Abigail was scattered across Mexico and the U.S. at the end of Season 2. Madison (Kim Dickens), Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Travis (Cliff Curtis) headed north in search of Nick (Frank Dillane), while Strand (Colman Domingo) stayed behind at the hotel. Nick, meanwhile, was even farther north, and was attacked by mysterious militiamen at the border crossing. Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) had her own encounter with a border patroller, who took her prisoner.

What's Next: Don't be surprised if Daniel Salazar (Rubén Blades) returns. It seemed like he didn't escape after he set fire to Celia's house in the Season 2 midseason finale, but the rules of the horror genre state that he's out there somewhere. Actor Colman Domingo isn't spoiling anything by pointing that out -- "On these shows, until I see the body, I don't trust it," he says.

Premieres: Monday, June 5 at 8/7c

Where We Left Off: Jace (Dominic Sherwood) had just found out that not only did he not have demon blood, he wasn't even Clary's (Kat McNamara) real brother. Too bad for him, Clary's off the market now, thanks to Simon. Meanwhile, the Downworlders finally banded together only to be brutally slaughtered by the Soul Sword, which has gone missing after a mysterious hooded figure picked up in the midseason finale.

What's Next: We'll finally see Valentine (Alan van Sprang) behind bars where he belongs, and the incredibly charming Sebastian (Will Tudor) will make an impressive entrance in New York City. Could he be Clary's real brother? That'll be the big mystery of the second half of the season as the tension between the Downworlders and the Shadowhunters continues to rise.

Premieres: Monday, June 5 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Kirsten (Emma Ishta) was finally close to tracking down her biological father and getting some real answers about whether her mother is truly alive. However, Season 2 ended with Kirsten getting stuck in a stitch where she could stay with a memory of her mother forever. The rest of the team was kept on lockdown until she could be fished out and was unable to communicate with the outside world.

What's Next: Everyone who has been patiently waiting for Kirsten and Cameron (Kyle Harris) to finally be on the same page emotionally are going to be rewarded very soon in Season 3. Cameron has to pull a very dirty trick to rescue Kirsten from the stitch, but once she's out, the two waste no time in putting their cards on the table and jumping into the relationship we've known they were meant for since the series began. A lot of the season will focus on how Kirsten and Cameron navigate being together and working together, according to Ishta and Harris. The team will continue to hunt down Emma's father -- and her mother -- and the true purpose of the Stitchers program will be revealed in the season premiere.

Where We Left Off: In the wake of Poussey's death, the various inmate factions at Litchfield finally found something they could all agree on: a riot. Season 4 ended on quite a cliffhanger, with Daya pointing a loaded gun at CO Humphrey's head, with a crowd of fellow prisoners forming a circle around her and urging her to shoot him.

What's Next: The entirety of Season 5 takes place over the course of just three days, as Litchfield descends into chaos during the riot. While Taystee and the rest of Poussey's friends try to cope with their loss and struggle to channel their grief into an effective pursuit of justice, other inmates use the riot for political or personal gain, and some of the girls just want to have fun while enjoying their newfound "freedom."

Premieres: Friday, June 9 at 8/7c

Where We Left Off: After getting his memories back, Four, a.k.a Rio Ashida (Alex Mallari Jr.), Season 2 ended with a bit of a cliffhanger by stealing the blink drive and blowing up the space station that housed the corporations summit.

What's Next: Seeing as the entire crew was still on board when the space station blew up, we're starting to doubt whether Rio retained any of his conscience in that memory upload. Now it looks like the remaining members of the Raza are out for revenge, as Two declares their newest mission: Kill Rio Ashida.

Premieres: Saturday, June 10 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Helena (Tatiana Maslany) and Alison (Maslany) were hiding out in the wilderness, and Felix (Jordan Gavaris) and Sarah (also Maslany) tried to tell Krystal (Maslany again) about Clone Club (she, however, didn't see the resemblance). When Cosima (still Maslany) got mad at Susan for wanting to restart her human cloning project, Susan locked her up in Rachel's (seriously, still Maslany) former prison. Charlotte helped Cosima break out (with some of Susan's samples!) and they escaped to an island village where Cos reunited with Delphine (Évelyne Brochu). Sarah went to rescue Cosima, but only found an injured Susan and a murderous Rachel. Sarah barely escaped and tried to get help from Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy), but she and Kira (Skyler Wexler) were being held hostage by Ferdinand. After Evie was killed, Sarah proposed to the Neolution board that they combine human cloning with the implanted bots. She was then invited to meet Mr. Westmoreland, who wrote the Neolution book over 100 years ago.

What's Next: After years of fighting and running, Sarah is horrified when she sees her sestras brought to heel by Rachel. Never one to give up, Sarah will try to keep fighting -- that is, until Kira joins the rest of Clone Club in surrendering to Rachel's desires. So rather than use her typical blunt tactics, Sarah decides to play the long game and, with the help of a few allies, she'll continue to work to free Clone Clone, all while staying under Rachel's radar.

Despite Sarah's rescue mission, Cosima will decide to stay in the little island community, called Revival, because she believes that's where she'll be able to find a cure for the sestras (and herself). There, she'll meet new friend Mud (Jenessa Grant), as well as many new faces she's smart enough to not trust. The island is also where P.T. Westmoreland resides, so fans can expect to learn plenty more about Neolution's mysterious founder, who has officially teamed up with the show's most formidable villain, Rachel. But as if a near-immortal bad guy uniting with the cruelest clone wasn't enough to deal with, the island is also populated by terrifying new creatures (likely the result of Dr. Moreau-esque sciences experiments).

There are also high hopes for a Cosima and Delphine wedding. The couple reunited in the Season 4 finale after it was revealed that Delphine survived the assassination attempt and new footage of the season shows Cos in a tuxedo and her on-and-off girlfriend decked out in a lacy white dress.

Where We Left Off: Beau (Sam Elliott) and Maggie (Debra Winger) finalized their divorce, and one of the conditions is that Colt (Ashton Kutcher) and not Rooster (Danny Masterson) takes over the ranch. Colt has big dreams of keeping the ranch in the family for generations, starting with he and Abby (Elisha Cuthbert) raising a family there. On Christmas Eve, he went out to propose only to run into his ex-girlfriend Heather (Kelli Goss), who revealed that she's pregnant.

What's Next: Colt has to prepare himself mentally and emotionally for fatherhood, and he's even ready to propose to Heather, but she's made her own decision -- she's not keeping the baby. Naturally, this is going to create its own set of issues, the least of which being Mary (Megyn Price), Heather's mother and Rooster's girlfriend, owning a 12 gauge and knowing how to use it.

Premieres: Saturday, June 17 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Capt. Simcoe (Samuel Roukin)finally had Abe (Jamie Bell) right where he wants him -- facing charges of treason, for which the penalty is death. But after pleading his own case in court, Abe is rescued just as Simcoe's about to hang him himself. Not so lucky was John Andre, who was captured and sentenced to death for conspiring with the traitorous Benedict Arnold (Owain Yeoman).

What's Next: In the Revolutionary War drama's fourth and final season, Benedict Arnold decides to get revenge on George Washington by turning in suspected rebel spies to the British authorities he's now working for. Abe manages to avoid Arnold's grasp, and struggles to not let his personal rivalry with the turncoat distract him from his ultimate mission: to win the war.

Airs: Tuesday, June 20 at 10/9c

Where We Left Off: The Lost parody came to a head with Owen (Zach Gregger) and crazy-ass Steve (Rhys Darby) fighting for control of the island after things got all Lord of the Flies. Owen eventually won, and Steve and his cohorts were stashed away in the pit. And that ship on the horizon that was their ticket off the island? Well... that turned out to be a pirate ship, and the bad guys wanted to kidnap Danny because -- as it turns out -- his family is super, super rich.

What's Next: Given that this is an island-bound comedy, we're guessing that Season 2 is all about fighting off the pirates and figuring out new ways to not get off the island.

Premieres: Thursday, June 22 at 10/9c

Where We Left Off: Scott confronted Annie about stealing drugs from the hospital and insisted that she go to rehab. TC and Syd were about to leave their camp at the Turkey-Syria border when it was blown up by incoming missiles, leaving both of their fates up in the air. Paul and Shannon confessed their love for each other, shortly after Paul and a number of the other ER staff members resigned after clashing with Paul's father, Julian, who purchased the hospital.

What's Next: San Antonio Memorial merges with Veterans Affairs in the new season, and as a result will be telling more stories that feature veterans as patients in Season 4. Ken Leung, who plays Topher, will not be returning to the show, though it's still a mystery as to how the character will be written out. And Mark Consuelos is joining the cast in a recurring role as Cain, a cocky travel nurse who comes to the United States from Mexico looking to start over.

Premieres: Friday, June 23 at 11/10c with back-to-back episodes

Where We Left Off: After two seasons of sexual tension, the complicated romantic relationship between Emma (Jessica St. Clair) and Mark (Keegan-Michael Key) finally came to a head -- but a darn cliffhanger got in the way, which means fans were left wondering what exactly Mark said to her on the porch. Elsewhere, best friends Emma and Maggie (Lennon Parham) -- and Bosephus! -- attempted to go to a Kenny Loggins concert -- with attempted being the keyword. Still, it wasn't all that bad as the two besties finally at long last met their favorite singer.

What's Next: After nearly two years off the air, Maggie and Emma will return with back-to-back episodes (the entire season will be available on video-on-demand Saturday, June 24), but it won't be all fun and games and cute babies: Emma will battle breast cancer this season in a storyline that mirrors St. Clair's own life. The actress recently opened up about her diagnosis and subsequent treatment, noting that she hopes that by writing her experience into the series, it will help others who are going through it.

Where We Left Off: James "Ghost" St. Patrick's (Omari Hardwick) karmic debt came for payback when his scorned ex Angela (Lela Loren) had him arrested for the murder of FBI Agent Greg Knox (Andy Bean).

What's Next: Jamie is still languishing in jail -- and he has no idea how bad things are getting on the outside. The fate of his kidnapped son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) is revealed, as is the fate of the missing LaKeisha (La La Anthony), while Kanan (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson) intensifies his plan to bring Jamie down. With Ghost behind bars for a while, Tommy (Joseph Sikora) is ramping up his campaign to be the biggest drug dealer in New York and Tasha (Naturi Naughton) is prepping for a life without Jamie and assuring the safety of her family by any means necessary.

Premieres: Sunday, June 25 at 10/9c; moves to regular timeslot Monday, June 26 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: At the end of the comic book series' first season, God finally arrived in Jesse's (Dominic Cooper) church, answered some questions about existence and saved the souls of Jesse's flock. Awww. But when God said he's even saved Eugene (Ian Colletti), Jesse realized this God was an impostor, since Jesse sent Eugene to hell. He used Genesis, the spiritual being-force that merged with him and gave him the power to make people do what he says, to get the false God to admit the real God has gone missing. And then Annville was destroyed in a methane gas explosion. Of course.

What's Next: The show has finally caught up to where the comic series started. Jesse has neither a church, nor a flock anymore, and he's sick of this God nonsense. This means he, Tulip (Ruth Negga) and Cassady (Joseph Gilgun) are hitting the road to find God... and kick His ass. This also means that Preacher's world is getting a lot bigger; Timeless' Malcolm Barrett has joined the cast and will play Hoover, a character from the comics who was a hapless Grail operative. On the show, Hoover is operating in a similar fashion for Grail Industries, the show's so far more corporate, less Jesus-y counterpart. Plus, there are loose ends like escaping the Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish) and rescuing Eugene from hell to tie up.

Premieres: Wednesday, June 28 at 10/9c

Where We Left Off: The Season 3 finale marked a major turning point for the series. Kelsey (Hilary Duff) finally learned the truth about Liza's (Sutton Foster) age -- though the episode ended before we could see her reaction -- while Josh (Nico Tortorella) caught Liza kissing Charles (Peter Hermann) right as he was about to propose.

What's Next: The new season will pick up exactly where the last one left off, and fans should expect a strong reaction from Kelsey as the news of Liza's lie will definitely test their friendship and their working relationship. And don't be surprised when Kelsey begins to spend more time with Josh now that she knows the truth; he's the only other person who knows what it feels like to have been duped by Liza.

Where We Left Off: Zoo has never been one to have a clear story or plot, but what we do know is that Season 2 ended with 10-year time jump after birds stocked with the cure were let loose on the world to stop the mysterious Noah Objective and some evil scientists successfully sterilized humankind because of course they did.

What's Next: Now the Zoo Crew has to figure out how to get back to making babies and stopping the razorback hybrid monsters that are still out there? Thank god Mitch (Billy Burke) is actually still alive!

Premieres: Friday, June 30 at 8/7c

Where We Left Off: Johnny (Aaron Ashmore) went on the lam after killing Delle Seyah (Mayko Nguyen). Meanwhile, Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) and D'avin (Luke MacFarlane) had to deal with the aftermath of Khlyen (Rob Stewart) being dead and decided the local fight isn't enough. They are going to continue on and fight the war to make sure Black Root is defeated once and for all.

What's Next: Season 3 will see Dutch go head to head with Aleena -- Khylen's daughter who looks identical to Dutch, which will make things interesting when trying to chase her down. Dutch and D'avin will also need to figure out who will fill out their trio while Johnny is adventuring around the universe with Clara (Stephanie Leonidas). Will they be able to reunite in time to figure out who is running Black Root if Khlyen isn't calling the shots?

Premieres: Tuesday, July 11 at 8/7c

Where We Left Off: Callie (Maia Mitchell) accidentally found herself as the newest prostitute for Diamond's (Hope Olaide Wilson) pimp when her plan to save Diamond went horribly wrong. Now Callie is stuck in a very dangerous situation just as Mike (Danny Nucci) secured the evidence Callie needed to turn her hit-and-run case around. Meanwhile, Mariana (Cierra Ramirez) led the student protest against Anchor Beach becoming a private school. However, the protest went off the rails when Jesus (Noah Centineo) freaked out that Brandon (David Lambert) and Emma (Amanda Leighton) might be secretly in love. He ran into the night as the student protest grew more volatile than anyone is prepared for.

What's Next: The Fosters will focus more on the family drama, according to executive producer Joanna Johnson. Callie's prostitution arc will be wrapped up in the first episode, though the ramifications will reverberate throughout the season. Johnson is excited for fans to see Callie struggle with "normal teenage problems," as well as a deeper exploration of her relationship with Aaron (Elliot Fletcher). Season 5 will also see The Fosters tackle important social topics like freedom of speech on college campuses, immigration and sex trafficking, according to Johnson.

Premieres: Wednesday, July 12 at 9/8c

Where We Left Off: Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) is finally legit. With some help from Jessica (Gina Torres) as his character witness, Mike passed the bar without once having to step foot inside law school. His betrothed Rachel (Meghan Markle) is also a lawyer now. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) became managing partner and convinced Mike to stay at the firm with two year's advance salary to donate to the clinic. Tara (Carly Pope) didn't take Louis (Rick Hoffman) back and Donna (Sarah Rafferty) failed to get The Donna patented and told Harvey she wants "more."

What's Next?: Season 7 is almost a brand new show now that Mike is a legal legal eagle, which presents a new host of challenges, like is anyone going to try to cast doubt on him in court thanks to his fraudulent past? Harvey is adjusting to being managing partner and we'll meet his old pal Alex Williams, played by Dule Hill, who's a new series regular. Alex is a senior partner at rival firm Bratton Gould with an enviable roster of clients. Hmm, is Harvey going to poach? As for what Donna meant by "more," she will explore new, non-legal secretary vocations. "I really love Donna's story [in Season 6] and my hope is that we can continue that because I think it's something that is long due," creator and showrunner Aaron Korsh says.

But what about Darvey, you ask? Korsh teases that he'd find it "hard to believe that in the rest of the seasons of the show we're not going to have something more" than that post-coital dream sequence in the Season 6 premiere. The show will also celebrate its 100th episode, scheduled to air Aug. 30.

Where We Left Off: Cersei (Lena Headey) crowned herself queen after blowing up the High Sparrow, Loras and Margaery - a massacre which prompted Tommen to commit suicide. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was crowned King in the North after Sansa (Sophie Turner) helped him take back Winterfell. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Varys (Conleth Hill), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke), Olenna (Diana Rigg), Ellaria (Indira Varma) and the Sand Snakes were sailing towards Westeros to claim Dany's birthright. Arya (Maisie Williams) returned to Westeros and murdered Walder Frey, while Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and Meera (Ellie Kendrick) continued on their way to Castle Black. Sam (John Bradley-West)and Gilly reached Old Town, Jorah (Iain Glen) was off searching for a grayscale cure and Theon (Alfie Allen)and Yara pledged to help Dany as long as she helped them kill Euron.

What's Next: The seven-episode penultimate season will see a lot of the show's disparate storylines finally connect. After leaving Mereen (thank god), Daenerys will reach Westeros -- specifically, Dragonstone -- this season, where she can officially kick off her fight for the Iron Throne armed with her now mega-sized dragons. Drogon, Rhaegal and Viserion will have grown to the size of 747s by the time the new season picks up - something which will likely impress Jon Snow when we finally meets the Dragon Queen this season.

Meanwhile, Cersei will team up with Euron to take on their common foes, including his niece and nephew. And while Jaime appeared unhappy with his sister when he returned to King's Landing in Season 6, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau promised that Jaime is still "committed to his sister" when the show returns - meaning there's no hope (yet) for anything to happen between Jaime and Brienne.

With Arya back in Westeros and Bran just north of the Wall, fans should also expect to see a few more of the Starks reunite -- but they won't necessarily all be happy reunions. After Sansa received no recognition for the role she played in taking back Winterfell, she'll go on a bit of a "power trip" this year, which will rub certain characters the wrong way.

Jim Broadbent will join the cast as an archmaester in five of the seven episodes this season (likely based in the Citadel), Ed Shreeran will make a cameo in which he'll serenade Arya and New York Mets pitcher Noah "Thor" Snydergaard will also make a brief cameo. Cast members reportedly returning this season including Bella Ramsey as Lyanna Mormont, Tobias Menzies as Edmure Tully, Joe Dempsie as Gendry and Arya's long-lost direwolf Nymeria.

Airs: Sunday, July 16 at 10/9c

Where We Left Off: The Vampire Strike Squad's attempts to shut the Master in a silver-lined coffin to contain him for good ran into a little bit of a snag after worst TV teen Zach (Max Charles) set off a nuclear bomb after his vampire mom Kelly (Natalie Brown) was killed by Eph (Corey Stoll).

What's Next: That explosion at the end of Season 3? It triggered a nuclear apocalypse. That would be bad in any situation, but in The Strain, the nuclear winter is particularly awful as it allows the strigoi -- vampires, basically -- to crawl out of the underground and roam freely without fear of the sun frying them like bacon. For humanity, well, that means being enslaved by The Master. For Eph, it means more searching for his son Zach. For us, it means another season of watching Zach be one of the dumbest teens on TV.

Where We Left Off: Season 1 ended the week before Donald Trump's inauguration with the world's greatest sniper, Bob Lee Swagger (Ryan Phillippe), foiling a Russian plot to destabilize America. (It's funny how art reflects life sometimes.) But something's going on with Isaac Johnson (Omar Epps) and National Security Advisor Gregson (Beverly D'Angelo). What's Next: Bob Lee Swagger travels to Frankfurt, Germany, for a ceremony honoring his former Marine unit. While there, he and his wife Julie (Chantal VanSanten) narrowly escape a deadly attack. Meanwhile, the plot thickens as FBI Agent Nadine Memphis (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) takes a job working for Gregson.

Where We Left Off: Spencer (Dwayne Johnson) became a part-owner of AFM when Anderson (Richard Schiff) decided Spencer couldn't afford (financially or spiritually) to take over the whole operation, so he rehired him and gave him a 49 percent stake. That was easy! Then he went to the rookie symposium in Canton and dropped truth bombs about protecting one's money on a room full of fresh-faced NFLers, earning a standing ovation and the respect of Eddie George, his former teammate who he bilked. The season ended with him going in for hip replacement surgery.

What's Next: Game of Thrones is the show's new lead-in, which makes for a fun odd coupling. In the new season, the action is moving from Miami to Los Angeles because Florida's film and television tax credit expired, but the on-screen explanation is because Spencer is going to be heading up AFM's Hollywood office. Or maybe he's going to consider a run for political office, like the Rock himself!

Where We Left Off: Issa (Issa Rae) learned that gambling with Lawrence's (Jay Ellis) feelings has serious repercussions when she came home to find he's moved out and moved on.

What's Next: Despite posting some teasers about Season 2 on Instagram, Rae's been tight-lipped about what'll happen. But it's safe to assume Issa and Molly (Yvonne Orji) will work on their friendship after that intense falling out and reconciliation, and we'll find out what happens with her and Lawrence too.

Where We Left Off: Ray (Liev Schreiber) managed to dodge FBI agent Frank Barnes' (Michael McGrady) grasp, while the Donovans got comeuppance on the Russians after Daryll (Pooch Hall) and Avi (Steven Bauer) kill Dimitri (Raymond J. Barry) and Mickey (Jon Voight) and Bunchy (Dash Mihok) shoot up the Russians' mansion.

What's Next: The show gets back to its Hollywood roots when Jay (Brian White), a rapper-actor, becomes mixed up in Ray's world, and Ray is charged with looking after spoiled starlet Natalie James (Lili Simmons), who's in need of protection -- likely at the behest of Samantha Winslow (Susan Sarandon), the strong head of a movie studio.

Premieres: Tuesday, Aug. 8

Where We Left Off: Julie's essay about her post-9/11 sexual escapades was optioned into a movie by a development executive (Julianne Moore), but Julie is taken off the writing project when she said she didn't want to work with her assigned writing partner, Harvey (Richard Kind). Rather than walk away from the film completely, Julie swallowed her pride and said she'd still like to be involved. After the death of his father and a series of bad relationships, Billy considered focusing on being famous, rather than being a fulfilled person. However, Billy had a change of heart after some (super creepy) advice from Matthew's not-long-for-this-world fiancé Elmer.

What's Next: The 10-episode third season will follow Julie on a season-long quest to find happiness after she learns she can't up her anti-depressants any higher. In the process, she tries everything from meditation to ayahuasca. Her relationship will also face some changes when Arthur is forced to commute to Jupiter, Florida, where PBS has moved all of its productions. Meanwhile, Billy tires of life in New York while simultaneously getting serious with his first real boyfriend Todd (John Cho), an ad executive who connects with Billy after they both refuse to back down in a ruthless prank war. Marilyn also lands a book deal thanks to a morally corrupt book editor with bad taste, played by Lucy Liu.

Where We Left Off: As his financial situation worsened, Matt was forced to sign on to a game show produced by Merc and the duo did their best to put their troubled past behind them, to little luck. Sean and Beverly were dragged back to L.A. to shoot more Pucks! while also having to deal with issues surrounding their other project, The Opposite of Us.

What's Next: In the final season, Matt is continuing to host Merc's game show The Box. In fact, the series is so successful, the world is forgetting he was ever famous for being an actor. To make matters worse, Merc has made it his mission to try and ruin Matt's life. Sean and Beverly will also be forced to work for Sean's former partner Tim, who is an absolutely abhorrent showrunner. But at least they have a job, unlike Carol, who is broke and possibly out of the industry for good.
