Fashion DRAW: Kate Hudson and Kim Kardashian

The jury is still out on Hudson and Kardashian's thigh-high style with nearly an even split between loving and hating the look. Kate Hudson wore a suede pair over skinny jeans, but more often than not they replace pants altogether. Kim Kardashian (aka J-Lo 2.0) demonstrates the look with leather heels and a belted mini-dress.

No. 4 Fashion HIT: Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes has all the heads turning at the Venice Film Festival with this stunning red and black, animal print gown. The strapless silhouette is simple yet elegant, with only a slight bit of ruching. And Mendes knows to leave all the flashy accessories at home and let the dress do all the talking.

No. 4 Fashion MISS: Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi

From the waist up De Rossi's navy, off-the-shoulder number is simple and lovely, but below the waist it totally falls apart. We would have belted it higher and tighter, and lost those hideous sandals. DeGeneres, who often opts for simple but unique, went a bit too simple with her suspendered trousers. Maybe a fun pair of her signature sneaks would have livened up the look.

No. 3 Fashion HIT: Jennie Garth

Garth looks ravishing in big, wavy locks and a floor-length gown that is beautifully cinched at the waist with a sparkling brooch. We love that she combined an old Hollywood look with a very in-demand color this season: bright orange.

No. 3 Fashion MISS: AnnaLynne McCord and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown McCord (left) might be going for biker chic with all that black leather, but she clearly never got the memo that less is more. A black corset over a white cami and a black push-up bra? It's almost as if she was asking for the fashion bloggers to come up with a snappy new synonym for "whore." On the other hand, Brown (right) is not wearing too many clothes; they're just too tight. Yes, she's stick-thin, but that doesn't excuse shiny leggings and pink and silver sequins.

No. 2 Fashion HIT: Rumer Willis

Willis walks a fine line between hot and trashy in this shredded '80s-style frock. But she definitely pulls it off. Is it just us, or has the Sorority Row star pulled a 180 these days with her new and improved fashion sense? Ashton must be picking out her outfits.

No. 1 Fashion MISS: M.I.A.

Look closely at the sequins on M.I.A.'s outfit: That's a tiger's face emerging from the minidress' animal-print bodice. Sure, offbeat looks are de riguer for the "Paper Planes" singer, but were the red Dynasty-style shoulder poufs really necessary?

No. 1 Fashion HIT: Jamie Luner

Melrose Place alum and current All My Children star Jamie Luner couldn't have picked a better color to walk the Daytime Emmys red carpet. This royal blue strapless mermaid dress complements her hair color, and it fits like a glove. Props to her tailor.
