Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Undercovers

Before landing the lead in NBC's new spy thriller from J.J. Abrams, former fashion model Boris Kodjoe was named one of People's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World." He is best known for his role as Damon Carter in Showtime's Soul Food, and he also appeared in Resident Evil: Afterlife. His leading lady, British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, starred as Tish Jones in the sci-fi series Doctor Who.

Jake Lacy, Better with You

Lacy scored his first role as Casey in Better with You as Joanna Garcia's dopey new fiancé. But even though he's working with the talented Garcia and the wonderful Debra Jo Rupp, he seems to steal every scene.

Kelli Garner, My Generation

The 26-year-old has made the rounds in independent features like Thumbsucker and Taking Woodstock, and she even turned up in a couple Green Day music videos. That's fitting, considering her first starring TV role is "the punk" in ABC's flashback documentary drama My Generation.

James Wolk, Lone Star

Described as a young George Clooney, Wolk has his first major small-screen role in Lonestar, what many liken to a modern-day Dallas. Playing a con man with two completely different lives (and women), Wolk is definitely the one to watch in this ensemble series.

Sarah Roemer, The Event

This former model is best known as Shia LaBeouf's hot next door neighbor in the thriller Disturbia. She's also appeared in The Grudge 2 and Asylum. Something tells us that her training in suspense films will come in handy with this action-packed NBC mind-boggler.

Ben Rappaport, Outsourced

Newbie Ben Rappaport is a recent graduate of Juliard and has starred in the off-Broadway play The Gingerbread House. In Outsourced, he plays a novelty item salesman who travels to India when his company's technical support is, you know, outsourced.

Aly Michalka, Hellcats

Best known as one half of the sister duo Aly & AJ, Michalka transitioned from singing to acting with roles in Bandslam and Phil of the Future. The 21-year-old can now use her on-stage performing skills with her to her new role as loner-turned-cheerleader on this freshman CW series.

Lucas Neff, Raising Hope

Newcomer Lucas Neff appeared on A&E's The Beast after doing some time in the theater. In Fox's Raising Hope, he plays a young man whose one-night stand turns out to be convict. But not before she has his baby!

Ashton Holmes, Nikita

Holmes most recently starred in HBO's mini-series The Pacific as PFC Sidney Phillips. War may be hell, but we bet mixing it up with sexy super spy Maggie Q in the CW's reimagining of La Femme Nikita will be equally challenging.
