After Lost became a bona fide hit for ABC, the networks stopped being scared of serialization, hence the flooding of the market of shows like The Nine, which told the story of a mysterious bank robbery from many perspectives. Sadly, not all serialized series are created equal, and ABC canceled the show after 13 episodes.

Remember how we first met the Man in Black's smoky alter ego? An unseen force ripped the pilot from the cockpit of Oceanic 815 and dismembered him.

Sure, there are times when it feels like you need an advanced degree in physics, but for the most part it's appreciated.

Thirty years after the original went off the air, CBS is reviving the classic cop series starring Moonlight's Alex O'Loughlin and Lost's Daniel Dae Kim. Like the original, it'll be filmed in Hawaii, a location suddenly made fashionable again by ABC's innovative island drama.
