"And because she's been alive for over 100 years, it had this gothic Victorian feel to it. But then we wanted to modernize it, which is where the body chain and the corset came in."

The Countess' killing glove, fabricated by jewelry designer Michael Schmidt and inspired by Daphne Guinness, features more than 11,000 Swarovski crystals. "I'm so excited to be working in tandem with Swarovski Elements on the creation of this very special glove for Lady Gaga as she slays us all on the new season of American Horror Story: Hotel!" said Schmidt.
