Where is Jon Snow?!
Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) makes a triumphant return after spending Season 5 in training. Check out how much he's grown here with the Three-Eyed Raven (Max von Sydow). Hopefully, his new powers will help bring some much needed balance back to the kingdom.
Sam (John Bradley) and Gilly (Hannah Murray) left the Wall so Sam could study in the greatest maester library in Westeros at the end of Season 5. That means they missed the Jon Snow stabbing, but have had their own travails.
The Mother of Dragons is looking pretty rough in the first shot of her in the new season, but at least she's alive. It looks like the Dothraki aren't too keen on seeing their supposed queen again, but some humbling might actually do her some good before she's ready to take the throne again.
Yara's (Gemma Whelan) appearance in the Season 6 photos is just more evidence that the Iron Islands are preparing for a big comeback. What will she do when she finds out that Theon has managed to escape Winterfell though?
Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) finally got her revenge against Stannis in Season 5, but she has made very little headway in securing the safety of the Stark children as she swore to Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) she would do. Perhaps Season 6 is her chance to make good on that oath.
Davos is at a loss after watching Shireen (Kerry Ingram) burn at the stake for Stannis' cause, only for Stannis to lose and be murdered himself. Will he take up duty at the wall or plot revenge against Melisandre, who seems to be the source of all of his pain?
Jaime Lannister is having a really rough time in Season 6. He makes his return to King's Landing with his daughter's body in tow.
Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) has the unpleasant task of telling his sister/baby mama Cersei that he failed in his mission to bring Myrcella (Nell Tiger Free) home safely from Dorne. That's going to go over swimmingly after Cersei has lost her crown and just survived a painful public shaming.
It seems that Melisandre (Carice van Houten) is staying warm at the Wall, where she retreated after she failed to secure Stannis (Stephen Dillane) a victory over the Boltons. The question remains whether she'll be able to use her Red Woman powers to save Jon Snow.
Arya (Maisie Williams) is thankfully still alive, but also still blind after lying to her masters at the House of Black and White. Will the condition be temporary or is the youngest Stark daughter never to see again?
Oh, some good news for Tyrion! He will reunite with Varys (Conleth Hill). Even if the situation seems dire, there's nothing the two most powerful minds in Westeros can't figure out if they are working together.
Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) joins Tyrion in her confusion about what to do in Meereen now that their queen has disappeared. She's gone from being the Queen's lady's maid to now being one of the city's key advisors, which is overwhelming to say the least.
It seems Balon Greyjoy (Patrick Malahide) survived receiving his son's private bits in a box in Season 4. If the Greyjoys are jumping back into the fold for Season 6, then it may be time for the Iron Islands to finally have their share of the power.
Speaking of whom, Ramsay will have to tell Daddy Dearest (Michael McElhatton) that their Queen of the North escaped with Ramsay's torture victim. If Sansa can break through to Reek and remind him that he's Theon Greyjoy, the Boltons' northern alliance may be in very serious trouble.
Ramsay was doing great in Season 5 - he was granted his father's name, got a stunning virgin bride and was made head of Winterfell. Now his bride has fled, the North is under attack and Roose is probably not going to be happy about it. These are reasons to sulk indeed.
Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) fate may be up for debate, but Myrcella's is not. Tommen (Dean-Charles Chapman) will add his sister's funeral to his plate along with his imprisoned wife and his shamed mother.
Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) managed to escape Westeros with his life, but now he's stuck in Meereen with a missing queen and a league of assassins wanting to kill everyone associated with "the Breaker of Chains." It will be a miracle the day the youngest Lannister son gets to take a vacation.
Jonathan Pryce will continue his reign of terror as the High Sparrow in Season 6. After seeing what he could do to a tough woman like Cersei, it's terrifying to think of the damage he could do with a full season ahead.
Theon (Alfie Allen) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) survived the jump off the Winterfell wall! How long will their camaraderie last? They're going to need each other to avoid Ramsay's (Iwan Rheon) clutches.
The Queen of the Seven Kingdoms may have sold out Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), but the last time anyone saw Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer), she was still a prisoner of the High Sparrow. This image says that she still hasn't been freed, but Dormer revealed to Jimmy Kimmel in December that she spent a lot of time filming in Spain - which means prison life may not be a thing for the Queen for much longer.
