Chloe Sevigny and Topher Grace

Growing up in Darien, Conn., Grace was friends with Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! co-star Kate Bosworth and was looked after by Sevigny, who let him stay up late. "I had such a crush on her," he said. The two later starred in school productions of Annie Get Your Gun and The Wizard of Oz.

Tia and Tamera Mowry and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

It takes two to look after twins. The Mowry twins, whose brother Taj co-starred on Full House, revealed on Watch What Happens Live in 2011 that they used to babysit the Olsen twins on the Full House set — and that they're not jealous of them.

William H. Macy, and Joan and John Cusack and Jeremy Piven

Before he got down and dirty with her on Shameless, Macy used to babysit Joan, her brother John and their neighbor Piven when he was a struggling actor in Chicago. Their fathers, actors Byrne Piven and Dick Cusack, would hire him for odd jobs because they knew he needed the extra buck. "I babysat them a couple of times," Macy told The Los Angeles Times. "[Byrne Piven] would hire me to come up to Evanston to do light carpentry. I think half the time he actually needed something fixed, and half the time he was throwing work my way because he knew I needed it."

Zac Posen and Lena Dunham

The fashion designer looked after the Girls mastermind when they were growing up in SoHo and he was responsible to taking her to school. "You were the best babysitter," Dunham tweeted to him in 2012. "You did my hair 'like a newscaster' and made me a frayed leather skirt." Perhaps Posen wouldn't have even babysat Dunham if she weren't rejected by the day care center run by the mother of another future star: Claire Danes. It's nothing personal — the place was just overbooked.

Wayne Gretzky and Robin Thicke

What was The Great One doing when The Trade went down on Aug. 9, 1988? Babysitting the future "Blurred Lines" singer. Gretzky and his wife Janet were house-sitting for pal Alan Thicke in L.A. while the actor was in Norway. "I called from Norway because I picked up the Oslo morning paper and saw pictures of Gretzky — but I couldn't understand the text, of course," Thicke told SportsNet. "And I thought maybe there had been a fire, a mudslide, a drive-by shooting, who knows? So I called home, and I learned Wayne left early in the morning; he got traded last night. He got the call at about 9 p.m., and he was gone by 6 the next morning. So we had to find a substitute nanny instantly, which is not as bad as what Edmonton had to find to replace him."

Kirsten Dunst and Christina Milian, and Kendall Schmidt of Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush actor and singer counted two celebs as his babysitters when he was 6. "Kirsten, I remember she had glasses and she wore overalls, she had red hair. I remember she used to make a good peanut butter and jelly sandwich, definitely," he said. "Christina Milian used to babysit me too, but she wasn't 'Christina Milian' then. We were all just struggling actors and singers it didn't mean anything."

Michael Bolton and Paula Abdul

Bolton, who was friends with Abdul's older sister, babysat Abdul when she was 7, and the straight up truth is that he, well, sucked (outside of the singing her to sleep part). "He would only want to just jam with the other musicians in the building I lived in," Abdul told Jimmy Kimmel in 2011. One time, when Bolton went outside, Abdul got a pencil, which was stuck in the couch, jammed in her knee and had to be taken to the hospital. Years later, when they both hit it big, Bolton asked Abdul to choreograph his tour. The crooner also Skyped into the Kimmel interview to confirm that he indeed babysat the "adorable" American Idol judge, but his memory of the pencil incident is a little hazy. "She's confusing that with ice cream," he joked.

Andy Warhol and Jade Jagger

After her parents, Mick and Bianca Jagger, split, the socialite and jewelry designer was looked after by the famed pop artist at his Factory studio in the '70s. "I spent a lot of time during the day at Andy's. I had my first glass of champagne with him," Jagger told the London Evening Standard. "No wonder I peed on his photo base paper once! But he didn't freak out, he liked the effect and later asked me to do it again." In February 2014, Jagger auctioned a painting Warhol had given to her in 1981 for $580,000.

John Landis and Kiefer Sutherland

When Universal wanted another big-name star in addition to John Belushi for National Lampoon's Animal House, Landis knew just who to call: Sutherland, with whom he had become so close on the set of Kelly's Heroes that he babysat Kiefer. "Donald Sutherland and I had gotten very friendly. I used to babysit Kiefer," Landis told Entertainment Weekly. "So I called Donald, and he said, ''I'll do it, but I'm not going to do it for scale. They have to pay me up front."

Kiefer Sutherland for Gwyneth Paltrow

Blythe Danner hired Jack Bauer for child care when the two were performing together in a theater festival in Williamstown, Mass. "I believe on a couple of occasions I was asked to look after her for an hour or two," Sutherland revealed in 2009. "I think it was very funny because it's unbelievable how fast someone goes from 13 to 18, and obviously they look so different that when Gwyneth started to work, I thought, 'Well, that must be another girl,' because I always remember her as being 11 or 12 years old."

Bethenny Frankel, and Paris and Nicky Hilton

Before she launched Skinnygirl, the former Real Housewife was Kathy Hilton's personal assistant and would take Paris and Nicky to and from school. Frankel mentions the socialites in her book Naturally Thin."I included them because they’re such a good example of good eating," she told The New York Observer. You know, they’re not obsessed with food — they sometimes eat a cheeseburger."

Alice Cooper, and Keanu Reeves and Sherilyn Fenn

Cooper is apparently a rock star babysitter. The rocker was a client of Reeves' mother, who was a costume designer, and he would look after little "Kee" when he was in Toronto. "I remember once, Keanu and I trying to take on Alice Cooper," Reeves' friend Evan Williams told People. "He tied us up like a human knot." Cooper babysat Fenn because her father was his road manager. "I actually saw him at one of these events like a year ago. I told him that I clearly remember picking out five pieces of my coveted Easter bag candy and giving it to him," she told the Detroit Free Press. "Alice Cooper babysitting me — that probably explains everything."

Christopher Hitchens and Olivia Wilde

The late writer was friends with Wilde's parents, fellow journalists Andrew and Leslie Cockburn, and lived with the family in the '80s. "During a slightly rackety period in my own life, by which time we all lived in Washington, D.C., I was the tenant of the Cockburns and the occasional supervisor of bedtime stories and suitable viewing fare for the younger generation," he wrote in Elle in 2010. "Olivia's incandescent greenish-blue eyes seemed to miss nothing."

Cher and Anthony Kiedis

When the Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman was in eighth grade, he was babysat by none other than Cher, who was still married to his godfather, Sonny Bono. In his memoir Scar Tissue, Kiedis recounted the moment they got ready for bed. "It was dark in the bedroom, but it was light in the bathroom, so I watched her take off her clothes," he wrote. "After she put on her nightgown, she walked back into the room and got into bed. I remember thinking, 'This is not bad, lying next to this beautiful lady.'"

Laura Dern and Angelina Jolie

While their fathers, Bruce Dern and Jon Voight, respectively, were filming Coming Home, Dern babysat for baby Angie. "Jon Voight's a friend of mine, so I remember Laura babysat one night for Angelina when Angelina was 2 and Laura was about 8," Bruce told Yahoo!. "They were staying over at [director] Hal Ashby's house, so they asked [Laura] to come over [to watch Jolie]." The story took a twist in 2000 when Dern's longtime boyfriend Billy Bob Thornton left her for Jolie after a whirlwind, blood vials-carrying romance. "I left home to work on a movie, and while I was away, my boyfriend got married, and I've never heard from him again," Dern famously remarked afterward.

Liza Minnelli and Ron Howard

Arrested Development's Mitch Hurwitz wrote Lucille 2 with Minnelli in mind and they were able to land Liza-with-a-Z because she used to babysit Howard, who personally asked her to play Lucille's vertigo-inflicted rival.
