Despite delivering his most confident performance yet, Stefano landed in the Bottom 3 for a second time, with many appalled that Pia went home instead of him. Stefano likewise remains at the bottom of the barrel in our Power Rankings. Is he singing on borrowed time?

Jacob did himself no favors last week by saying that if his version of "Man in the Mirror" landed him in the Bottom 3 — and it did — it would only be because America wasn't ready to look in the mirror. Based on his low placement in our rankings, we suspect viewers didn't like that attitude.

Paul's take on "Folsom Prison Blues" was a return to his happier, quirkier style, but he continues to be voted into the Bottom 3. His luck isn't much improved in our Power Rankings

Well, Lauren has certainly proved to have staying power among the female singers, five of which have now been voted off. She's remained consistent throughout the competition, but we think she's in desperate need of a "moment" performance in order to really stand out.

Now that the excitement over the judges' save has died down, Casey has to find ways to show off his particular style without becoming redundant. As much as we like seeing the upright bass on stage, it's getting harder to picture that on an album cover.

Haley makes a huge leap in our Power Rankings! She's made the most of a mind-changing Elton John cover a couple weeks ago, and might be firing up for a dark horse run at the title.

Scotty remains (country) strong with our voters, moving into the runner-up slot this week. At this point, we're done asking him to try something that isn't country-fried. We'd settle for just some vocal gravy to mix it up.

With Pia gone, James has taken the top spot in our rankings for the first time. Will he be able to rock his way to the Idol crown?
