Tim should be thankful that Paige Miles suffered last week, because he was one one cheesy knee-slide away from missing out on the tour. Everything about his performance fell flat, and despite his attempts to loosen up, he was the picture of nervous stiffness.

Andrew Garcia (tie)
Another poor performance — Simon said he sucked the soul out of Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" — caused Andrew to fall to his lowest position in our rankings yet. Will he ever regain the momentum of his early hype?

Katie Stevens (tie)
Her version of Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry" was a definite improvement, but her youth and inexperience continue to hamper her. She still lacks the control over her voice that is necessary to go the distance in this competition.

Didi Benami
Didi seems to be suffering an identity crisis. She says she wants to show different sides of her personality, but the end result is inconsistency, which will doom her as the weeks go by.

Aaron Kelly
Battling laryngitis and tonsillitis, Aaron delivered a strong performance of Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing," a song Idol seriously needs to retire. Aaron seems to have one advantage over almost all his competitors at this point: He picks songs that make him sound good.

Michael Lynche
The judges dinged Michael for overcomplicating his old-fashioned version of "When a Man Loves a Woman" with too many vocal runs. Our voters must have felt similarly, as he slid back toward the middle of the pack in our rankings.

Casey James
Casey's karaoke version of "Power of Love" didn't wow Simon, but the fun-lovin' performance pushed Casey way up in our rankings. We're pretty sure this guy could just smile his way into the top 5.

Lee Dewyze
Lee delivered his most consistent performance yet — and without a guitar to boot. His growth throughout the competition is evident, which could be something to keep an eye on as the group becomes smaller.

Siobhan Magnus
She continues to blow our minds and eardrums. Her rendition of "Superstition" was well-sung, but it lacked funk and was overcompensated with her increasingly pedantic screeching. Although she remains in second place, she lost several percentage points.

Crystal Bowersox
Crystal's "Me and Bobby McGee" shined bright on a night of duds, and perhaps even outshined the original. As such, even more voters jumped on the Bowersox bandwagon: She pulled in a whopping 55 percent of the vote this week.
