To do so, Wolverine must unite all the mutants to stop the assassination of Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), the creator of the Sentinels.

Release date:May 30 In this madcap comedy set in 19th-century Arizona, mild-mannered sheep farmer Albert (Family Guy and Ted creator Seth MacFarlane) has been branded a coward after he backed out of a duel, but the alluring Anna (Charlize Theron) just may help him find his bravery. The film also stars Liam Neeson, How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris, Giovanni Ribisi and funny lady Sarah Silverman.

Release date:May 30 Who says Disney princesses get all the fun? Angelina Jolie returns to the big screen after a four-year hiatus as the titular villainess from Sleeping Beauty. The origin story will trace how the high-cheekboned fairy became the Mistress of All Evil and placed that curse on Princess Aurora. Elle Fanning co-stars as Aurora, with Jolie's 5-year-old daughter Vivienne playing a younger version of the princess.

Release date: June 6 Based on the best-selling book by John Green, the heartbreaking, triple-hanky tearjerker stars Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort as offbeat teens who fall in love after meeting at a cancer support group. This, of course, isn't the first time the two has worked together: They star in the Divergent series… as siblings.

The actor was 7 years old when he was hired in 2002 and will turn 20 this summer.

Release date: July 18 A month after reteaming with Jonah Hill on 22 Jump Street, Channing Tatum returns to the big screen in this sci-fi space opera from The Matrix writers and directors The Wachowskis. The film also stars Mila Kunis as Jupiter Jones, a down-on-her-luck janitor (no, really) who is informed by an interplanetary warrior (Tatum) that her genetic signature makes her royalty and heir to Earth. Game of Thrones alum Sean Bean co-stars as a Han Solo-type character.

Release date:July 25 Not to be confused with Hercules: The Legend Begins, starring Kellan Lutz, Hercules features The Rock as the titular hero who takes up arms against a brutal warlord to help the King of Thrace and his daughter. The film, directed by Brett Ratner, is based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Tracian Wars.

Stepping into the Godfather of Soul's dancing shoes is Chadwick Boseman, who played Jackie Robinson in last year's 42. The film co-stars True Blood's Nelsan Ellis, The Walking Dead's Lennie James, Cougar Town's Josh Hopkins, and The Help co-stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer.

Release date:Aug. 1 Based on Marvel comics, Guardians is about an unlikely group of extraterrestrial misfits on the run from the law after stealing an orb. When Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) discovers the true power of the orb, he must rally his former rivals to fight for the galaxy's fate. The ensemble cast also includes Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel as the tree-man Groot and Zoe Saldana as Gamora.

Release date: Aug. 8 And you thought Black Widow was badass. Scarlett Johansson stars in Luc Besson's latest femme fatale sci-fi thriller as the titular character, a drug mule who accidentally ingests the drug she's carrying. As a result, she gains superhuman powers and intelligence. Morgan Freeman co-stars as a professor who helps Lucy harness her powers.

Release date: Aug. 8 The Heroes in a Half-Shell are back! New York City is facing dark times, with Shredder (William Fichter) and his Foot Soldiers running the show, so everyone's favorite reptilian warriors are needed to save the day. Helping them out are reporter April O'Neil (Megan Fox) and her cameraman, Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett). Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Vanilla Ice will be making an appearance this time around.

Release date: Aug. 15 Based on the award-winning, highly controversial book about a futuristic, dystopian society that has eliminated pain and suffering, the film adaptation stars Oscar winners Meryl Streep and Jeff Bridges (as The Giver), as well as True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard, Shameless' Cameron Monaghan, Katie Holmes and Taylor Swift (yes, Taylor Swift), who plays The Giver's daughter.

Release date: Aug. 22 Based on the second book in the Sin City series, the sequel continues the neo-noir crime thriller's tales and features four plots, including two original ones. The impressive cast includes returning players Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis. Newcomers include Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Ray Liotta and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller return to co-direct.
