Despite its lovely name, the town is actually battling a disease that has mysteriously killed off everyone over the age of 21, leaving the surviving residents to fend for themselves while trapped in a quarantine. Unlike most Netflix shows, this show's six-episode first season was released one episode at a time. But you can binge the entire first season before Season 2 drops next year.

Who says there aren't any roles for women of a certain age in Hollywood? Netflix's original comedy stars Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda as frenemies who become roommates and confidantes after their husbands (Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) reveal that they're gay - and are divorcing their wives to marry each other. At 77 and 76, respectively, Fonda and Tomlin are clearly having the time of their lives in the show, a promising entry in Netflix's original comedy lineup.

This addictive, dark British drama follows police sergeant Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancashire), who becomes obsessed with bringing her daughter's rapist to justice after her daughter commits suicide. Along the way, Catherine discovers that her daughter's attacker (and the father of her Catherine's 8-year-old grandson) is also involved in a kidnapping plot. Our biggest complaint about the misnomered show? That Season 2 won't even air in Britain until next year.

Set in China in the 13th century, Netflix's historical epic stars Lorenzo Richelmy as the titular explorer, chronicling Polo's early expeditions under Kublai Khan (Benedict Wong). Netflix renewed the series shortly after it premiered for a 10-episode second season, which will likely premiere at the end of this year. Yes, the name is awful, but just give this one a shot. This British sitcom stars Johnny Flynn as Dylan, an inept romantic who, after being diagnosed with chlamydia, must contact all his previous lovers to inform them he has the disease. Most of the show is told in flashback, as Dylan recounts many of his embarrassing encounters with the women in his past. Daniel Ings and Antonia Thomas co-star as Dylan's best friends.

This mind-bending thriller from Lana and Andy Wachowski (The Matrix) and J. Michael Straczynski (Babylon 5) tells the story of eight strangers from around the globe who, after experiencing a violent vision, learn they have the ability to connect with one another's thoughts and actions. As they use their communal experience to try and solve the mystery of what's happened to them, they must also evade another "sensate" who is trying to hunt them down. Featuring an international cast and shot all over the world, this one is a visual feast.
