“Inspector Lynley: A Great Deliverance,” a two-part puzzler pairing an odd Scotland Yard couple: artistocratic Thomas Lynley (Nathaniel Parker) and his resentful working-class partner, Sgt. Barbara Havers (Sharon Small). In Part 1, they're sent to a Yorkshire town, where a farmer whose wife had left him has been murdered. His decapitated body was found in his barn, along with his traumatized daughter, who can't (or won't) talk to anyone. Based on the novel by American author Elizabeth George.
