Clock restorer Monty Francis (Charles Kay) needs Hetty Wainthropp's urgent assistance in “How Time Flies”: he suspects that a clock he's restoring is stolen, particularly since two seedy characters are chasing him. Meanwhile, Frank (Frank Mills) and Janet (Suzanne Maddock) get mixed up with the philandering father (Tom Chadbon) of a friend of Janet's and the woman (Shirin Taylor) with whom he's been philandering, who happens to be the sister of the scoundrels chasing Monty.
