The Mentalist: Did Rigsby and Van Pelt Finally Say "I Do"?

[Warning: The following article contains spoilers from Sunday's episode ofThe Mentalist. Read at your own risk!]

After five seasons of on-and-off romantic tension on The Mentalist, Wayne Rigsby (Owain Yeoman) and Grace Van Pelt (Amanda Righetti) finally tied the knot on Sunday's episode, after being inspired by another couple's wedding. (Fortunately, Rigsby and Van Pelt's nuptials weren't marred by the murder of a family member the night before, however.)

"It's been fun exploring the relationship," executive producer Daniel Cerone tells TVGuide.com. "From the beginning [creator Bruno Heller] had a plan for the show to run many years, and we didn't want to get them together permanently too soon, because we wanted to sort of play all the drama that exists in real relationships, in terms of missteps and mistakes and failures and fears. And we feel like we've really mined that over the years, and mined it honestly."

So what finally made them take the plunge, and how long will the newlyweds' honeymoon period last? Check out our full interview with Cerone to get answers to those burning questions and more:

Mentalist Boss Bruno Heller Breaks Down the Red John Suspects

It's the beginning of the end for the Red John story line on CBS' The Mentalist. Creator Bruno Heller has promised that the case which has plagued Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) since Season 1 will be solved this year. And based on the Season 6 premiere, Heller and Co. aren't wasting any time in getting to the conclusion.

"We've never really started a season with this kind of situation in which our guys are very, very close to the bad guy, but the bad guy knows exactly as much as they do," Heller tells TVGuide.com. "It's an interesting chess position that they're both in as we start. ... In this first episode, Lisbon is dealing with the fact that Jane for the first time doesn't seem to know what to do next. And that scares the hell out of her."

We asked Heller to make a case for each of the seven suspects. "All of those guys have reasons to hide aspects of their personality," he says. "It's just a question of whether they're hiding for ordinary prosaic reasons or for sinister, evil reasons."

Nikita on a Plane and More Plans for the Final Season

Nikita will go out on a high note, so to speak.

Exclusive Mentalist Postmortem: Robin Tunney Breaks Down the Big Red John Reveal

[WARNING: The following story contains spoilers from the Season 5 finale of The Mentalist. Read at your own risk.]

And then there were seven.

The Mentalist finale: Who is Red John?

As promised, The Mentalist's Season 5 finale found Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) narrowing down the list of people who could possibly be his serial killer nemesis Red John to just seven names. But in a final twist and display of power, Red John "changed the game" by predicting — in the form of a video message from the now-dead Lorelei Martins (Emmanuelle Chriqui) no less! — which seven names Jane was going to end with. He also shared this parting threat: "I'm going to start killing again, often. Until you catch me, or I catch you."

Creator Bruno Heller insists that one of these suspects is indeed Red John... read more

Vanilla Ice: Rapper, reality show star and ... YouTube star? Maybe someday soon!

The singer, born Rob Van Winkle, performed with some of YouTube's biggest musical stars at the Hollywood Palladium Sunday night for the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards, which celebrates the best of online programming. The collaboration was an anxious affair though because he had only met crooner Chester See, musician Mike Tompkins and Epic Rap Battles of History's Nice Peter the night before. "We had no game plan but put everything together last night. It was so sloppy, I can't even tell you," Van Winkle told TVGuide.com.... read more

Nikita's Melinda Clarke Reveals Amanda's Owen-Torturing Past and Killer New 'Do

Nikita's Amanda is dusting off her torture skills.

On Friday's episode (9/8c, The CW), when Amanda (Melinda Clarke) returns to bust Owen (Devon Sawa) out of a Russian prison, fans will learn more about their shared past. "She very specifically targets Owen. He had a life before Division, but when he came to Division, Amanda got her hands on him," Clarke tells TVGuide.com. "The torture machine that Amanda tried on Birkhoff last year — that was not the first time she's used it. So, Amanda has definitely been an integral part in who Owen is today."

Nikita Season 3 Scoop: The Dirty Thirty, a "Mikita" Shower Scene and More

Nikita's Percy may be dead, but his legacy lives on in The Dirty Thirty.

On the Season 3 premiere (Friday at 9/8c, The CW), Nikita & Co. discover that taking over Division means having to clean house after the death of its leader Percy (Xander Berkeley) last season. "When the recall order was sent out, 'Percy is dead. Come back in from wherever you are in the world,' some agents complied. Thirty of those people didn't," Nikita creator Craig Silverstein told reporters at Comic-Con. "They cut their trackers out and disabled them. They're out for themselves, money, for whatever crazy ideology and personal goals they have."
