Effervescent and charmingly manic, this gorgeous brunette was a professional cheerleader before becoming a "mermaid" on the last season of
The Love Boat. Over the next few years, she played a host of femme fatales before reinventing Superman's girlfriend for the neurotic '90s on
Lois & Clark. Although she subsequently starred in a number of features, Hatcher was unable to maintain her career momentum (or her marriage to actor Jon Tenney), and soon she only appeared on the tube in reruns and RadioShack ads (with NFL star Howie Long). But the supposed has-been became a star and sex symbol once again (at 40 no less) on
Desperate Housewives in 2004.
