Pilot News: Gay-Straight Comedy Recasts Lady Lead

ABC's untitled comedy pilot from Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick has recast its female lead, following the first table read. Per the Reporter, Ayda Field (Back to You's bodacious weathercaster) has claimed the role previously assigned to Sarah LaFleur. The pilot centers on two men — one gay (Alan Tudyk), one straight (Josh Cooke) — who are best buds and business partners. Field will play Cooke's girlfriend.
