The 10 Best Things You'll See on HBO's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Special – And 5 Moments You Won't

The heart of rock & roll really is still beating.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame staged its 29th annual induction ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn back in April, and HBO will air excerpts of the event on Saturday. This year's inductees spanned six decades of music, including NirvanaKISSHall and OatesCat StevensLinda RonstadtPeter Gabriel, the E Street Band and, for the first time ever, two managers: The BeatlesBrian Epstein and The Rolling StonesAndrew Loog Oldham.

May 24, 2007: Throw Your Horns Up High!

Tons of kids wearing black and metal horns high. It's the VH1 Rock Honors baby, yeah! Right now, my iPod is filled with nothing but '80s music and metal. So naturally, the second annual Rock Honors was highly anticipated in the Steed household. Over the past week, I've closed my eyes to not read any reviews of the show by critics who've never gotten near a ZZ Top album. So what you read below is my opinion only. Hell, yeah!!! That phrase could describe many points during the night, so let's run it down from the beginning. I hate Nickelback! I think they are the absolute bottom of the barrel, the point at which all bad music is judged. The Mendoza Line of the music world. Naturally then, you can probably understand that when they opened this broadcast my horns slithered away. Musical Notes: Genesis Reborn, Plus a Pair of Stalkings

Genesis will reunite for their first tour in 15 years, a 20-date trek through Europe, it was announced on Tuesday by front man Phil Collins. The "Turn It On Again" tour will open in Helsinki, Finland, on June 11, 2007, and end with a free concert in front of the Colosseum in Rome on July 14. U.S. dates will follow.... Country crooner Lee Ann Womack has secured a protective order against a man who has been stalking her for a year, says the Savannah Morning News, while Hilary Duff's own harasser, an 18-year-old who has "made physical threats" against both the teen queen and her beau, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, has pleaded not guilty to stalking charges.
