TLC has ordered a new reality series that will document the lives of retired Major League Baseball All-Star Pete Rose and his Playboy model fiancée, Kiana Kim, the network announced Wednesday.
The series will focus on the couple's attempt to blend their families, with Rose living in Las Vegas and traveling around the country for public appearances and Kim residing in Los Angeles with her two children. In addition, some members of Rose's family are "skeptical of their relationship," TLC's release says.
It will also chronicle Rose's efforts to become eligible for baseball's Hall of Fame. The 71-year-old was banned from baseball after it was discovered that he bet on games when he was a player and manager for the Cincinnati Reds in the 1980s.
