Mya is "excited" Dancing with the Stars judge Len Goodman has finally lavished praise on her ballroom skills, but she's still feeling black and blue. Mya received stitches for a deep cut in her hand Sunday night, reports People — but she'll still appear on the ninth season premiere of Dancing with the Stars (Monday, 8/7c, ABC) with pro partner Dmitri Chaplin.

Mya is aching — but she likes it. "My torso's cramped," she tells TVGuide.com about rehearsing with her Dancing with the Stars partner Dmitry Chaplin. "But it's a good sore, like I should've been doing something in the gym before he battered me today!" The singer/actress is hard at work perfecting her moves with Chaplin, but don't think her dance background puts her at a large or even unfair advantage. It just puts more pressure on her, she says. Can Donny Osmond do what Marie couldn't and win Dancing with the Stars? Twenty-six percent of TVGuide.com voters think so.

In a poll that asked users to pick their early Season 9 frontrunner, Osmond emerged victorious, nabbing more than a quarter of the nearly 4,000 votes cast. Osmond's sister, Marie, finished in third place on the ABC hit's fifth season.
