Kobe Bryant Fined $100,000 For Anti-Gay Slur

Kobe Bryant is being fined $100,000 for using an anti-gay slur aimed at an NBA referee Tuesday night, ABC News reports. 

After Bennie Adam called a technical foul against the L.A. Laker, Bryant uttered "f---ing f---ot," and it was caught on camera.

"While I'm fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated," NBA commissioner David Stern said in a statement.

NBA All-Star Game Scores TNT Ratings Victory

The NBA's East vs. West match-up proved to be a ratings win for TNT, which scored its largest audience for an All-Star game since 2003.

Sunday's competition brought in 9.1 million viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It was also the second most-watched NBA game on television during the 2010-11 season to date.

In a short film directed by Robert Rodriguez, Bryant's  alter ego, The Black Mamba,  goes up against a trio of villains: The Crippler (Danny Trejo), Mister Suave (Bruce Willis) and The Boss (Kanye West).

LeBron James loves Cleveland! Sorry, Cavaliers fans, not your Cleveland. The basketball superstar and six fellow NBA All-Stars make a fast break to Cleveland Brown's hometown of Stoolbend, Virginia, on Fox's The Cleveland Show on February 13. "Cleveland and Donna go to L.A. to see the NBA All-Star Game," says executive producer Mike Henry (who voices Cleveland). "Cleveland gets appropriately drunk and starts heckling the players, and they get their feelings hurt. They all come together and vow to go to Virginia and track Cleveland down and set him straight."
