The most beloved third wheel in suds history, Shriner's Scotty Baldwin was married to Laura (Genie Francis) back when she famously fell in love with Luke (Anthony Geary). TV Guide Magazine can now report that Shriner will bring his beloved Scotty Baldwin character back to Port Charles on Feb. 19, just days after the arrival of Francis, his former GH wife. You gotta love a network that brings Guiding Light's Josh and Reva back together! Investigation Discovery has been kicking butt in the ratings with its true crime and love-gone-bad programs — the cable network currently ranks fourth in daytime with women 25-54 — and now it's setting a trap for afternoon soap viewers. On Aug. 20, ID will launch Days of Our Knives, a daily three-hour block (1:00 to 4:00pm, ET/PT) of themed programming hosted by some of the greatest stars of daytime drama, including Kim Zimmer, Robert Newman, Drake Hogestyn, Kristian Alfonso and the queen herself, Susan Lucci.

Carly Schroeder got her first big break when she was spotted in a Shake 'N Bake commercial by Kin Shriner and subsequently went on to play the soap vet's angelic TV daughter, Serena, for six years on the General Hospital spin-off, Port Charles. Schroeder has also shared girl time with Hilary Duff in The Lizzie McGuire Movie and "lisp-synched" Cindy Brady in the TV-movie Growing Up Brady. Now, the 15-year-old lovely is playing Harrison Ford's spunky daughter in the hostage thriller Firewall (in theaters today).
