Studied voice at the Interlochen Arts Program in the late '90s.
Got his big break when renowned producer, composer and arranger David Foster asked him to sing at the California governor's 1999 inauguration.
Filled in for Andrea Bocelli during rehearsals for the 1999 Grammys and attracted the attention of host Rosie O'Donnell, who subsequently booked him on her talk show.
Made two guest appearances on Ally McBeal in 2001 as Malcolm Wyatt, Ally's singing prom date.
Performed with Charlotte Church at the closing ceremony of the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City, UT.
