Now, swollen vocal cords have forced Keys to cancel her own appearances.She was scheduled to perform tonight in Cleveland. American Idol Jordin Sparks has canceled three concert appearances due to a severe throat ailment.Sparks, 18, was scheduled to perform at Penn State University on Sunday, but is suffering from "an acute vocal-cord hemorrhage", according to the officials at the theater on campus.She also canceled an Earth Day show in Washington, D.C., that was slated for Monday, as well as an appearance as the opening act for Alicia Keys this coming weekend. — J.R. Shrieks and slime filled UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion as Jack Black, Miley Cyrus, Shia LeBoeuf, Jessica Alba and many, many more took center stage at the annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The first victim claimed by the green goo was Indiana Jones himself, Harrison Ford, but before the night was over Mummy star Brendan Fraser and heartthrob Orlando Bloom would also be covered in gooey goodness. The orange carpet, with its usual displays of playful fashion and eardrum-busting noise, was a chance for celebrity parents to share the spotlight with their kids. Brad Garrett ('Til Death)and Jodie Foster had both claimed tickets after taking part in kid-friendly movies. Hey guys! Erin Fox here again. First off, I still have no news about Nina and her baby... which means she's dealing with some seriously long labor! I thought for sure she'd have him last night, but alas, Baby Boy Hammerling-Smith is a stubborn little guy. Send lots of positive thoughts her way! Secondly, I know all about Chikezie-gate 2008. I swear he was not left out intentionally, it was just computer error… as in my computer kept crashing and I had to keep re-entering my recap (it was not a fun time at my house late last night!). Poor Chikezie was temporarily dissed, but I made sure to add him back as soon as I could.Now, I have to admit something: I hate the elimination shows. I never watch them. I just can't stand the cheesy group numbers and bad product placement videos. But, let's hope they prove me wrong, and I'm thoroughly entertained.
