American Idol Jordin Sparks has canceled three concert appearances due to a severe throat ailment.Sparks, 18, was scheduled to perform at Penn State University on Sunday, but is suffering from "an acute vocal-cord hemorrhage", according to the officials at the theater on campus.She also canceled an Earth Day show in Washington, D.C., that was slated for Monday, as well as an appearance as the opening act for Alicia Keys this coming weekend. — J.R.
