Sir, please move away from the copier. It's time to sing! The Singing Office, premiering later this year on TLC, will showcase the nation's best singers plucked right out of everyday offices. Hosts Melanie Brown and Joey Fatone will each barge into an office and select the five best singers. Each quintet will be trained by pros to do a song-and-dance number and perform in front of a studio audience."It's not like American Idol or Dancing with the Stars," Brown said. "It's not a serious competition. It gives people a break from their everyday lives to have some fun with their coworkers." J.R. Whalen

With its colorful themes, shouting contestants and big prizes, you'd think NBC's Singing Bee had it all. But on Tuesday, Oct. 30 (8 pm/ET), host Joey Fatone and the rest of the Bee crew — plus audience — will be dressed up for Halloween, and we don't doubt it'll be a spooky and exciting night of singing. TVGuide.com caught up with Fatone about his latest tricks and favorite treats, plus who he's rooting for on Dancing with the Stars!
TVGuide.com: So what did you do at M&M World in New York recently?Joey Fatone: I tap-danced, did backflips, it was amazing. [Laughs] Actually, I was there because M&Ms is doing a huge campaign to kick off the Halloween season — and I love Halloween because I love to go trick-or-treating

Already playing catch-up on only the second day of the official TV season. Geez, how will we ever survive Wednesdays and Thursdays? I was mostly enthralled, once I got over yet another tedious Mohinder speech to kick off the season with more blah-blah about destiny and the plague that threatens to eradicate these evolutionary wonder-heroes as the fate of humanity itself hangs in the balance. Seriously, they talk that way all the time on Heroes, and dont I wish Mohinder would just put a sock in it.But then the story kicks in, and by the end, Im even in awe of Mohinder, whos in league with Noah Bennet (formerly HRG) to infiltrate The Company and bring them down. Joey Fatone is getting in sync with the TV Guide Network. The Singing Bee host will join fellow Dancing with the Stars alum Lisa Rinna on the red carpet for the upcoming awards season. Though the two are replacing Joan and Melissa Rivers, whose contract ended this year, viewers shouldn't expect them to be anything like the mother-daughter duo. "You can't fill anybody's shoes," says Rinna. "Joan Rivers is a genius. They made the pathway; we're the next generation."While Rinna brings her fashion expertise to the job, Fatone takes an Average Joe approach to his hosting duties. "You want to see real people and you want to see their personalities," says Fatone. "I think that's what America likes."Viewers will get their first chance to see the pair in action Sept. 16 when they hit the red carpet for the 59th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.
