Beauty and the Beast is finally staging a beast-on-beast fight.
In the concluding moment of last week's episode, viewers learned that Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy), with his glowing yellow eyes, is in fact a beast. On Thursday's penultimate hour of the show's freshman season (9/8c, CW), Gabe and Vincent (Jay Ryan) will meet for the first time — leading to an epic beastly battle in the season finale.

On the anniversary of her mom's death, Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) visit her grave, but before they get too close, Vincent spots Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) paying his respects as well.

If Beauty and the Beast's Vincent (Jay Ryan) could be cured of his beastliness, would he do it? Not necessarily, says executive producer Jennifer Levin. "There's a possibility that Vincent can be cured, but [Cat and Vincent's] biggest struggle is what is a good normal for them — which might be him being a beast," Levin tells TVGuide.com. "So Vincent's DNA becomes more of a source of conflict."
