Not since Bart Simpson revealed his doodle last summer has a cast been asked so many questions about full frontal nudity The ensemble behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall was barraged with inquiries about Jason Segels bare breakup at the Hollywood premiere of his movie At one point there was a nylon sock involved says costar Kristen Bell who dumps Segels character while hes in the nude I tell you that draws more attention to it than you really need there so we said Ditch the sock lets just pretend youre not naked Segel admits that the nudity was his idea and that he discovered its not easy being a guy in this case One of the great things about female nudity is that at least they have the comfort of knowing that men have all different kinds of preferences Theres not that many women out there who like small penises but I think I came out all right Lets see if I ever get a date Segel getting a date may have less to do with his choice or lack of attire and

The cast of How I Met Your Mother put the "work hard, play hard" philosophy into action Thursday night as they celebrated the premiere of their spring season and St. Patrick's Day at the Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood. Stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, Cobie Smulders and Bob Saget wrapped up a milestone week of filming with pop diva Britney Spears and turned out in their red carpet finery ready to par-tay. Jameson Irish Whiskey cocktails flowed, Irish-themed hors d'oeuvres (including mini corned-beef-and-cabbage tarts, whiskey wings, and mini shepherd's pies) were passed around, and Segel dished about Brit-Brit's acting chops. "She has really good comedic timing," he said. "Her improvs were really good. She was into it and very funny." Segel also discussed his moonlighting as a big-time Hollywood writer when he's not working on HIMYM. "I'm writing the script to the next Muppet movie," he said. Getting Knocked Up was clearly not enough for Judd Apatow and How I Met Your Mother's Jason Segel. The pair's now teaming up for yet another comedy: Five-Year Engagement, which follows the relationship between Segel's character and his fiancée for... yes, five years. Writer-director Nick Stoller explains, "It's definitely an extension of our desire to explore the depth of human misery."But before the Engagement we'll see another Stoller-Segel collabo, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which also stars Kristen Bell. Stoller describes Engagement by comparison, saying, "If Sarah Marshall and Jason's character had stayed together, this might be the sequel." Anna Dimond

So we're all on the New York street on the CBS Radford lot in Studio City shooting a How I Met Your Mother promo that's a parody of CSI, which they tell me is a popular show. We're all exhausted and not quite sure what we're doing. My sense is that on an hourlong procedural show, the hours are much worse but your face never has to change its expression. So that's a big up. Changing facial expressions is exhausting and overrated. They're setting up a shot of a corpse's feet right now. We're all pretty exhausted the night's supposed to go very late and we have an early call. We haven't been officially picked up for a third season yet, but we're all seeing it as a good sign that CBS is having us do this. I'm going to have each cast member say something... get a little guest-blogging going.Me: Hey, guys. Give me a quote for my TVGuide.com blog.[Everybody thinks]Neil Patrick Harris: "I'm in a constant state of squint. And I like it. I like it a lot. It feels right, you know?"Alyso...
