Denis Leary's FX firefighter dramedy ended its penultimate 2010 episode with two men down: Lou (John Scurti, TV's most underrated actor), whose heart problems caused a warehouse fire to worsen, and probie Damien (Michael Zegen, who's come into his own this season). Tommy Gavin's godson, who's run hot and cold on the idea of following in his late father's FDNY bootsteps, literally had the ceiling fall in on him.

Meanwhile, James McCaffrey sizzles as Julianna Margulies' P.I. paramour on exec producer Denis Leary's new Fox drama Canterbury's Law.
