In an attempt to prove that Boston voters are mindless sheep satisfied by empty rhetoric, Frasier decides to conduct an experiment. He persuades Woody to get on the ballot for a city council seat and sure enough, the naive political newcomer soon begins to gain popularity with both the press and the public. Meanwhile, Frasier realizes the potential disaster of Woody actually winning. Frightened for the future of Boston and possibly the world, Frasier convinces Woody to withdraw from the race at the public debate, held the night before the election. Woody makes a heartfelt speech that moves him and nearly everyone else to tears. The emotional moment culminates when Kelly joins him on stage and announces that she's pregnant. The touching scene ignites the voters of Boston to fully support him and, much to Frasier's chagrin, Woody wins the election in a major upset. watch
