Remember when TLC was called The Learning Channel? Maybe a hundred years ago, you could watch shows that taught you how to, I dunno, paint mugs and play Rummikub or something, but now, it s all about WEIRDOS AND FREAKS. Seriously, turn on that show any time of day, and you re likely to be confronted with a transsexual dwarf who lives with 12 children inside a shoe, where he secretly hoards Twix bars. The newest member of TLC s dysfunctional family of lunatics is Riley, a 25-year-old women from Upstate New York who appears on My Strange Addiction because she is an Adult Baby. It s exactly what you think it is: she wears diapers, sucks on a pacifier, sleeps in a crib, and almost definitely sh*ts her pants. That was until we saw this video of Dolly Parton welcoming summer by teaching us about cicadas, and also being just all-around adorable. Just the way she reacts to the fake bees buzzing around her head? Priceless.
