One Life to Live celebrates its 45th anniversary Monday, and is also celebrating a new beginning. New episodes will premiere as scheduled on Hulu and iTunes, and the show will also begin its limited 10-week run on OWN.
"I'm just glad that we can actually have an anniversary, that we're not having a funeral," star Kassie DePaiva, who plays Blair Cramer on the long-running soap, tells TVGuide.com. "Hopefully 45 years from now, somebody else will still be talking about One Life to Live."

Van, Deaq and Billie must carry out the orders of a killer named Nick McKussick (Kirk Acevedo - "Oz," "Band of Brothers"). Only after they perform tasks for Nick, involving the recovery of materials from foreign nationals entering the U.S., does he inform them of his poisoning victims, so they can be saved in time. As Billie relates how she knows Nick--and why she is so terrified of him--it becomes obvious that Nick is using the threesome to gain control of an incredibly lucrative stash of valuables, and the lives of countless unknown innocents depend on the cops' success. watch

Billie arranges for Van and Deaq to work with Shane (John Asher), a gang member whom they have just apprehended. To avoid going to prison on drug charges, Shane must help Van and Deaq infiltrate a Mexican gang by posing as drug suppliers. The gang's leader, Trey Stone (Eric Mabius), is not impressed by Shane, so Van and Deaq gain Trey's confidence by fighting a rival gang. But Shane proves less than trustworthy, and the consequences could be deadly. watch
