Etta James Dies at 73

Etta James, the ebullient soul singer of the hits "Something's Got a Hold on Me" and "At Last," has died, according to CNN. She was 73.

James died Friday at a Riverside, Calif., hospital after a battle with leukemia, her manager confirmed.

Jazz vocalist Etta James has been hospitalized with a blood infection.

The three-time Grammy winning singer of "At Last" was admitted to a hospital in Riverside, Calif., earlier this week with a urinary tract infection and sepsis, her son, Sametto James, told Reuters.
