Diedrich Bader Fast Facts:

Great-grandfather Edward L. Bader was the mayor of Atlantic City from 1920 to '27 (a fictionalized version of him appears in HBO's Boardwalk Empire).
Father was the European representative for the Ford Foundation for four years in Paris.
As a child, he idolized Charlie Chaplin and developed a routine inspired by the actor. He seized an opportunity to perform when, while watching a movie, the projector caught fire, so he jumped onstage and did his act for the theater audience.
Holds a boules tournament every year with friends. The first tournament lasted 17 hours.
Once worked as a security guard at ABC Studios.
Played twins Jethro and Jethrine Bodine in the 1993 film version of The Beverly Hillbillies.
Voiced the title character on the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
