In Into the Blue 2: The Reef, a made-for-unrated-DVD sequel streeting this week, Laura Vandervoort (Smallville) and Chris Carmack (The O.C.) pick up where Jessica Alba and Paul Walker left off, playing young lovers whose diving business gets them into trouble as deep as the water. Alias alum David Anders, who plays a cash-flashing client with an ulterior motive, gave us a peek at the pretty-to-look-at drama.
TVGuide.com: Working alongside a bikini-clad Laura Vandervoort, Marsha Thomason and Audrina Patridge (The Hills).... How did you do it, man? Was there hazard pay?
David Anders: Yeah, it wasn't a bad deal at all! To get paid to get certified for scuba-diving, and work with all those great people... .
TVGuide.com: Then again, you did have to film this in some idyllic locale.

I heard a rumor that Sara Ramirez has been offered a TV show in which she will star. While I question the reliability of the source, I hope this is true. She is a talented actress who does not get any recognition or decent writing for her Grey's Anatomy character. — Michelle
MATT: "Que sera, Sara?" you ask? Ramirez's rep tells the Buzz, "We haven't heard that rumor" about her being courted for a series of her own. In the meantime, I'm told that Grey's' bi-curious Callie will pick up where she and Erica left off, this time with the pediatric surgeon being played by Jessica Capshaw beginning Jan. 8. But contrary to what you may have heard elsewhere, these two ...

Daring to venture outside the Beverly Hilton base camp for the TCA press tour, on Wednesday morning I trekked to the extremely rural location where Heroes was shooting scenes involving, um, a familiar character, a brand-new one, and lots of intriguing mural art. Oh yeah, and there was a tortoise. In between shooting videos with a trio of cast members, I grabbed a few minutes with story editor Chuck Kim. Interestingly, he said that Heroes is better for the WGA strike which forced the NBC series to wrap up its sophomore season in December. "If Season 2 hadn't been cut, we were going to focus [the second half of the season] on the villains," he said. Instead, Volume III, kicking off Sept. 22, will take a more in-depth look at the temptation of the dark side. "The great thing is we've made [that arc] much better than it would have been," says Kim. "We'll be seeing some new [villainous] characters, but we'll also be dealing with our series regulars and see how their abilities are 'temptin...
