Surf's Up -- Come join Cody (Shia LaBeouf), a Rockhopper penguin, as he journeys from his home in Shiverpool, Antarctica, to take part in the Big Z Memorial Surf-Off on the beach of Pen Gu Island. During his adventure he meets some new friends, including surf nut Chicken Joe (Jon Heder) and the spirited lifeguard Lani (Zooey Deschanel). Cody believes that winning is everything until he meets The Geek (Jeff Bridges), and old washed-up pro-surfer, who may just show Cody that a true winner isn't always the one who comes in first.

Stow Falls needs a new recreation center and the local merchants have decided to donate money if the kids clean up the town. For each clean up chore, the kids receive a token and the one with the most tokens wins two summer passes to the town’s new amusement park. When Tom Sawyer (Phillip Van Dyke) hears this, he's up to his old pranks and convinces the kids in the neighborhood to do all the chores and turn over the tokens to him. But Joe, a charming villain, is really planning to steal all the town’s money. When Tom discovers the town is in danger, he and his friends attempt to foil Joe's escape.

Surf's Up is an animated feature that goes behind the scenes of the high-octane world of competitive penguin surfing. The film profiles Cody Maverick, an up-and-coming surfer as he enters his first pro competition. Inspired by his hero, a legendary wave rider named Big Z, Cody leaves his family and his town of Shiverpool, Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for the Big Z Memorial Surf Off. Cody believes that winning will bring him the admiration and respect he desires. But when he unexpectedly comes face to face with a washed up old surfer named The Geek, Cody begins to understand that the greatest champion isn?t always the one who comes in first.
