Severance -- A team-building weekend in the mountains of Eastern Europe goes horribly wrong for the sales division.

Pride & Prejudice -- The story is based on Jane Austen's novel about five sisters - Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia Bennet - in Georgian England. Their lives are turned upside down when a wealthy young man (Mr. Bingley) and his best friend (Mr. Darcy) arrive in their neighborhood.

'Severance' tells the story of Steve Saddleman, a burned-out internet developer, who fancies himself a writer of detective stories. He wants to be tough and suave, a movie hero like Humphrey Bogart, so he can get the girl of his dreams and tell his boss to shove it.Steve, however, is paralyzed by fear: he can't write, quit his job, or express his love. But on his 30th birthday everything changes, as Steve gets a chance to break free from his dead-end existence. Over two weeks time he'll pursue a dream, one filled with the smoke and shadows of film noir... and one that may prove to be just as elusive.The Austin Chronicle writes: 'Think of 'Severance' as 'Play It Again, Sam' for the Austin tech-bust era.The result is a confident, pretty, and goofy film that... proves to be a charmer. [Featuring] a cool big-band soundtrack composed by Pat Murray, Severance and Miller epitomize the spirit of independent Austin filmmaking.'NOTE: 'Severance' has not been submitted for a rating classification from the Motion Picture Association of America. Therefore, it is technically 'unrated', but it is our humble opinion that the movie would probably garner a 'PG-13' rating (for strong language and adult situations) based on comparison to similar films.
