EJ and Arianna prepare for her hearing. EJ is still determined to prove Nicole framed Arianna. At the same time, Brady talks to a private investigator about tracking down the person who drugged him, possibly leading to the person who framed Arianna. Unfortunately, the P.I. comes up empty. Outside the courtroom, Nicole’s actions make Rafe slightly suspicious. Rafe gets in Nicole’s face as EJ and Arianna show up. Gabi arrives to support her sister. Everyone goes into the courtroom except Nicole. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief as Arianna is released on bail. Brady intends to pay her bail, but EJ beats him to it. Rafe isn’t happy about his sister receiving help from EJ, but Arianna accepts the offer. After Rafe leaves, Arianna tries to give Brady back his engagement ring, but he tells her to sell it to pay EJ for his services. Later, EJ gets Nicole alone. She calls him out on his bluff. He lies and says he’s got the proof he needs – he’s just waiting for the right moment to reveal all. She’s going down for setting up Arianna. While hanging out at the lake, Will and Chad talk about Chad going to Wake Forest. Chad credits his mother for always pushing him to excel. Will notes he never had that with his mom. As they compare mothers, the discussion becomes heated. Later, Kinsey points out that Gabi’s at her sister’s hearing. Wanting to support her, Will goes and Kinsey thinks he’s crushing on Gabi. Will meets up with Gabi and they return to the lake and have a nice moment. The kids run out of food and Will offers to get more. While he’s gone, T tells Chad he chose the wrong girl, meaning Mia instead of Gabi. Chad says it’s going to be a long summer – anything can happen. Madeline begs Kate to keep her secret. Kate says she will do her best, but can’t promise she won’t tell Stefano if it were to come up. Later, Will overhears that Madeline Peterson-Woods used to be a call girl. Shane and Kimberly work through their issues, and decide to work on being a family in Los Angeles.
