La Dolce Vita -- 'One of the most influential and popular works by Federico Fellini, LA DOLCE VITA follows the 'sweet life' of a tabloid journalist (Marcello Mastroianni) who covers the glitzy show business life in Rome.

Both the Americans and Russians have a two person base on the Moon. The American station is staffed by a group of half-crazed men, and the Russians are a well adjusted male-female team. Comedic chaos erupts when Peter Mattemore (Jerry Lewis) and his bride-of-convenience, Eileen (Connie Stevens), are sent to a lunar space station to monitor the weather.

Screen legends John Wayne ("Rio Bravo") and Oscar-nominee Lauren Bacall ("The Big Sleep," "The Mirror Has Two Faces") star in this tale of a great escape, as a group of refugees are led to freedom from Red China. The spirited action is directed by a master of the form, William A. Wellman ("Wings," "Battleground").

Marcello (Marcello Mastroianni) is a journalist in Rome during the 1950s who covers tabloid news of movie stars, religious visions and the self-indulgent aristocracy. The story depicts Marcello's life, the ease, indecision and frequency with which he gets distracted by women. It has the following distinct episodes. If the evenings of each episode were joined with the morning of the respective preceding episode together as a day, they would form seven consecutive days, which may not necessarily be the case.
