Have you ever wondered what some of Hollywood's famous females talk about when they get together? TVGuide Network is now giving viewers a peek with the upcoming special Hollywood Moms Night (Sunday at 8).
"There are things that all women have in common when they get together with their girlfriends and this is a fun opportunity to share that and show a different side of us to our fans," Alison Sweeney says. Sweeney, who stars on Days of Our Lives and hosts The Biggest Loser, and her best friend Ali Landry invite Denise Richards, Niecy Nash and La La Anthony for one of their famous dinner parties and it doesn't take long before the conversation heads south — literally. Last week, she was a hapless office assistant on Up All Night. Tonight, in the same time period on a different network, she's an insufferable sibling who makes Thanksgiving a chore, as Saturday Night Live vet Molly Shannon shows off her range, playing Frankie's demanding sister Janet on ABC's The Middle (8/7c). A holiday visit to Frankie's mom and dad (Marsha Mason and Jerry Van Dyke) becomes a recipe for disaster: "Stir in one broken toy, one passive-aggressive sister and let stew overnight ... Take unresolved issues and soak in alcohol." Frankie insists that "Everybody in one house is what makes holidays special," but anyone who's ever spent the festivities sleeping on an air mattress will relate to this first-rate episode.

The annual Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon wasted no time in offering a tribute to its longtime host, Jerry Lewis, and potentially defusing any backlash or disappointment with his absence.

After a dance performance opened the show, Lewis' replacements — Nigel Lythgoe, Jann Carl, Alison Sweeney and Nancy O'Dell — took the stage and immediately took turns talking about the comedian/filmmaker's five-decade commitment to raising money for a cure. Huge photos of Lewis at various stages of his career served as a backdrop on stage as they talked.

Jerry Lewis still isn't hosting this year's Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon.
Despite a Las Vegas Review-Journal report to the contrary, Lewis' spokeswoman, Candi Cazau, tells Reuters that his status has not changed.
