Although this exotic beauty possesses a famous film-biz surname, she isn't related to Francis Ford Coppola (although movie producer Denise Di Novi is her cousin). Primarily a small-screen player, Coppola started out as a host on the MTV game show
Remote Control before landing a three-year stint on
Another World. She graduated to prime time with an impressive succession of guest appearances on some of the hottest series of the '90s (
NYPD Blue,
Chicago Hope) and early 2000s (
CSI,
Ally McBeal). Able to project intelligence and an appealing toughness, she was perfectly cast as a savvy stockbroker on the Wall Street-set
Bull. But when the show was canceled, she returned to guest spots, including recurring roles on
NCIS and
American Dreams. In 2006, Coppola joined the cast of the postnuclear holocaust drama
Jericho, and the following year she made the leap to the big screen when
Jericho executive producer Jon Turteltaub cast her as an FBI agent in
National Treasure: Book of Secrets, which he directed. Since the 2008 cancellation of
Jericho, Coppola has kept busy booking more TV guest spots (
Drop Dead Diva,
Lie to Me). Off screen, she and husband Anthony Michael Jones enjoy spending time with their three daughters, Mila, Esmé and Greta.
