Dick Van Dyke, meanwhile, will appear in the Jan. 23 episode of Scrubs as a long-time friend of Dr. Kelso's (Ken Jenkins). read more


Winona Ryder's alleged supplier has been caught! Doc-to-the-stars Jules Lusman, who had his medical license revoked last week, has been accused of overmedicating celebs like Ryder and singer-actress-hellraiser Courtney Love. Ryder had 37 prescriptions filled by 20 doctors from January 1996 to December 1998, according to the actress's probation report. Lusman denies any wrongdoing. read more


Former The X-Files star Gillian Anderson is reportedly engaged to British documentary filmmaker Julian Ozanne. Anderson, who is in London to appear in the new play What the Night Is For, met Ozanne earlier this year, but the pair only recently began dating. read more


Some of the biggest names in ABC News and Sports gathered Monday at St. Bartholomew's Church in Manhattan to bid farewell to broadcasting giant Roone Arledge, who died Thursday of cancer at age 71. Pop tart Britney Spears is seeking a restraining order against a 41-year-old Japanese man she says has been stalking her since September. According to court papers, Masahiko Shizawa of Yokohama, Japan, has "tracked and attempted to contact" the 21-year-old singer at her various residences. He allegedly sent Spears photos of himself with notes, "I'm chasing you." Subtle, he's not. read more

Tim Curry's Rocky Road to Fame

Ever since 1975's The Rocky Horror Picture Show — where he camped it up as "sweet transvestite" Dr. Frank-n-Furter — Tim Curry has been a comedic big-screen staple. Look at all the fun stuff he's done in Home Alone 2, Charlie's Angels, Scary Movie 2 and The Wild Thornberrys (opening Dec. 20). Sadly, though, TV success has proved more elusive.

Domestic strife paid off big time for HBO Sunday night. The season finale of The Sopranos — which featured Carmela kicking Tony out of the house — attracted a whopping 12.5 million viewers and whacked its competition on the major broadcast networks. It was the mob drama's second most-watched episode ever; the show's season premiere in September drew 13.4 million fans. And despite complaints that the fourth season was a bore, ratings were actually up 22 percent over Season Three. Tough guy actor Tom Sizemore, star of CBS's Robbery Homicide Division, was arrested Monday at his Los Angeles home for allegedly punching his girlfriend in the face and throwing her to the ground.
