Happy Halloween, everyone!

First off, we wanted to clear up all the rumors that are circulating.

Read carefully: David Conrad is not, not, not leaving Ghost Whisperer. We love him - he is amazingly talented - we all have lots of fun together and he is an important part of the Ghost Whisperer family. But most of all, we here at Ghost Whisperer are very much aware of how all of you feel about him.  Again, David is not leaving Ghost Whisperer. Are we clear? We do, however, have some exciting and dramatic things in store for our beloved Jim and Melinda that we can't wait to share with you- it's all just around the corner. And, until then, please know you can always come here for the absolute truth.

In this week's episode, "Bloodlines," Melinda investigated the sudden death of one of Ned's classmates, and uncovered a tangled mystery between the spirit and the family of the spirit's former best friend. Ian directed the episode- lots of exciting things happened while he was directing - during the cross over scene in Griffith Park Ian got knocked right off his feet. He claims this was the result of his encounter with an angry ghost. Kim suspects Ian ran into the techno crane. Shhhhh... our secret.

The episode was written by writing partners Melissa and Joy Blake - they're new to the show this year (sisters!) and they're doing a wonderful job. (They also wrote the episode that Kim just finished directing "Life On The Line"/Episode 411.) "Bloodline" stars Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Amy Pietz (Aliens in America, Caroline in the City), Mika Boreem (Dawson's Creek) and Daytime Emmy winner Camryn Grimes (The Young and the Restless).

Musically, this episode featured the song "Dream" by Priscilla Ahn (Blue Note Records), "Against the Girl" by In for the Kill and "Winter" by Holly Conlan.

Check out the Nov. 3 issue of TV Guide - they're featuring a spectacular two page photo of David Conrad and a gorgeous photo of Jennifer Love Hewitt. Thanks TV Guide!

A few Ghost Whisperer Halloween treats for you:

Our Trick or Treating with Jamie Kennedy online video. We dressed Jamie up and took him out for Halloween a week early - he had us in hysterics. Funny, funny guy. This weekend he's performing up in San Francisco at a few clubs so if you encounter a Jamie Kennedy look-alike on the corner of Haight and Ashbury, it may , in fact, not be a look-alike. It may be the real thing. So, go up and give him a Ghost Whisperer 'noogie'.

We also have a spooky Helmet Cam tour of the Antique Store basement , hosted by our our digital media online star - Liana - you can and should check out. She has recovered since shooting the video.

Now, a special feature that we have for this spooky holiday is our interactive IS YOUR HOUSE HAUNTED? flash animation - click here and you'll be able to discover 29 ways to deal with ghosts in your house.

We'd also like to congratulate claymation artist Miles Kalbach, who worked with us on Ghost Whisperer's Claymation video. He has honored us by saying that that gig helped land him his new Coldplay music video. Check it out - Miles did all the claymation and we're very proud of him for directing a Coldplay music video. Click here to check out his newest creation.

One last thing - Jennifer Love Hewitt started directing her first episode today, and she's having a blast - and getting good film - and making her day. Great work, Love. We're proud of you.
