Aaron Spelling's jiggly classic about gorgeous gumshoes working for an unseen boss garnered as much derision as it did male viewers. Launched in September 1976, the show took flight in the ratings, turned the three leads into major stars and inspired countless imitators (and, two decades later, a couple of hit theatrical movies). Numerous cast changes occurred during the show's run, most notably the replacement of Farrah Fawcett-Majors with Cheryl Ladd in 1977.

Like the novel and film of the same name, this nighttime soap opera is set in the small New England town of Peyton Place, whose quaint charm masks a complicated web of extramarital affairs, shady business deals, scandals, even murder.

Adapted from John Jakes's sprawling novel, North and South garnered attention when it first hit the small screen due to its supporting cast, including Gene Kelly, Robert Mitchum, Johnny Cash and Elizabeth Taylor as a New Orleans madam. However, most of the screen time went to Patrick Swayze and James Read, who play best friends from different parts of the country in the years leading up to the Civil War.

Out Of The Blue is an American fantasy sitcom that aired on ABC during the fall of 1979. It is chiefly notable as having featured a Mork & Mindy crossover, and for the controversy surrounding its status as a spin-off of Happy Days.The series stars Jimmy Brogan as Random, an angel-in-training who is assigned to live with a family and work as a high school teacher. The series aired from September 9 to December 16, 1979. Nine episodes had been aired at the time of cancellation. Some completed material was never broadcast.

Blue Water High is an Australian television drama series, broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on ABC1 and on Austar/Foxtel Nickelodeon channel in Australia and on various channels in many other countries. Each season follows the lives of a young group of students at Solar Blue, a high-performance surf academy where several lucky 16-year-olds are selected for a 12-month-long surfing program on Sydney's northern beaches.There are three series in Blue Water High. The first two series were screened in 2005 and 2006 and the producers did not intend to create a third series. However, due to popular demand by fans, they relented and made one more series with only Kate Bell returning in a main role. Series three ended with the closure of Solar Blue, indicating that the show would most likely not continue.

A group of librarians plunge into adventure as they try to protect the world's mystical treasures. As the staff has a hard enough time enforcing the return of a book, this latest initiative could spell the end of the library.
