Season 3 begins three months after Oscar (Matthew Perry) and Charlotte (Teri Hatcher) reconcile and they are still happily together. However, some things haven't changed, as Oscar is still as irresponsible as he ever was. Although Emily (Lindsay Sloane) has returned from her internship in England, she feels as though part of her is still there—leading her to reevaluate her relationship with Felix (Thomas Lennon). Dani (Yvette Nicole Brown) gets promoted to producer, but finds it more challenging than she thought it would be. Oscar and Felix's personalities continue to clash, causing them to question their living situation. Guest stars include Cindy Williams, Ron Howard and Busy Phillipps, along with musical guest stars Boyz II Men.
